Remember he is a Jesuit Priest.
The Indigenous People killed many Jesuit Priests!!!!
Sorry, the Indigenous People murdered many Jesuit Priests.
      Where is the apology?????
In 1649, Brébeuf and another missionary were captured when an Iroquois raid took over a Huron village (referred to in French as St. Louis).
Together with Huron captives, the missionaries were ritually tortured and killed on 16 March 1649.
Brébeuf was beatified in 1925 and among eight Jesuit missionaries canonized as saints in the Catholic Church in 1930

All committed by vermin who masquerade as Roman Catholic clergy, Christian brothers and the many other cancerous vultures responsible who have carried out these crimes throughout history. As always a pathetic apology, too little too late ,1000 years or more! The RC. church has never given up even one of its criminals for lawful punishment anywhere in the world...EVER. You might adopt a different perspective if one of your family was a victim. His 'good effort' is all one sided, a shallow pathetic apology 1000 years too late especially since the cancerous animals who thrive within his church are still well protected today. Look up this Godless scab's service when he was in South America, not something to be proud of, not his finest hour! I remember reading about the mass grave found in an Ireland Catholic mother and baby home, inside a septic tank. Residential schools, forced adoptions and sterilization of unknowing native women happened in the US as well under Catholic programs. Catholic hospitals also did medical experiments on native children after forcefully taking children from their parents and flying them thousands of miles away without their parents under the lie that those children had TB. It was basically a legal organized crime, human trafficking and experimentation group operating under the pretense of religion. The only difference is the Canadian government actually recognizes the wrongs committed against the indigenous in their country

"And he (Collection of Papal clergy priests) deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs ( Catholic Antichrist miracles ) which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast (Antichristendom Papal Antichrist kingdom) telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast (image is idol (also image represents moral image of the worshippers in that they have been shaped into the image of an idol spiritually blind and spiritually cannot hear like an idol cannot see or hear) which is the Eucharist/Mass Wafer they believe through transubstantiation the bread literally becomes Jesus they turned bread into the worst idol of the ages. This is THE Abomination of Desolation spoken of by Daniel and Jesus in Matthew 24. 70AD destruction was a type of desolation but not THE Abomination of Desolation. Notice how Jesus uses the word THE basically he's alluding to the worst idol of the ages which is the Eucharist Mass Wafer) who was wounded by the sword and lived. (Rome wounded when it became Christian empire it was healed when paganism was revived under Roman Catholicism)" The word APOSTATE in the Greek equals the number of the beast and APOSTATE is a name of a person and aka name of name of the beast. Specifically people would fall away from the true pristine church and embrace the doctrine of demons which includes the worship of saints, relics and sepluchres (e.g Church of the Holy Sepulchre) and (accept Antichrist idolatry that is setup in their heart so Antichrist spiritually rules from within the idolator's temple (their physical body). Thessalonians talks about the Great APOSTASY where people will become APOSTATE --- Revelation 13:14 NKJV

The Romish Church now presents a fair front to the world, covering with apologies her record of horrible cruelties. She has clothed herself in Christ-like garments; but she is unchanged. Every principle of popery that existed in past ages exists today. The doctrines devised in the darkest ages are still held. Let none deceive themselves. The popery that Protestants are now so ready to honor is the same that ruled the world in the days of the Reformation, when men of God stood up, at the peril of their lives, to expose her iniquity. She possesses the same pride and arrogant assumption that lorded it over kings and princes, and claimed the prerogatives of God. Her spirit is no less cruel and despotic now than when she crushed out human liberty, and slew the saints of the Most High.” (Great Controversy, p. 570 1888).

My friend, isn't the long term killing, subjugation, oppression of our men, women and children who's indigenous peoples fill the penitentiaries, have the highest number of children in governmemt care, and incarceration for the smallest minority group in Canada enough? Is the stealing of lands, resources of water, gold, oil, diamonds, timber, and all the other vast abundant resources your people benefited from for the past 500 years from the suffering of our people enough? Now you want us to pay taxes and have all the laws and treaties the British Crown wrote to be broken? My friend, if you did your research, indigenous people who live and work off the reserve pay all the taxes that everyone else pays. The only place peoples don't pay taxes is if you work on reserve. I agree with moving on and not living in the past, this is important but people and institutions who've done the wrongs in the past, is a huge step forward to at least admitting there was something done wrong by the people and institutions have committed it. This is something that has been avoided and ignored for quite sometime, and this is a huge step forward in righting the wrongs done not so long ago.

But he won’t apologize on behalf of the church because of “the church can do no wrong”. A step in the right direction but doesn’t address the reality of the situation, nor does it bring back the people lost to the evil of the church. Peoples spirituality should be respected but no belief or action should be regarded unfalsifiable on this basis. Controversial statement I know but so were Galileo’s discoveries which the church forced him to recant by threat of imprisonment, torture and execution.

As horrible as atrocities at those schools. I don’t believe it was genocide I. The sense we know it. Genocide is ethnic cleansing like Holocaust. It was more a case of extreme physical abuse resulting in tragic death. Despite these sadistic animals i their goal was harsh discipline, but went to far, and many died. But if it kept happening and these people knew those children died and buried them, yes I think it would be genocide because filled with hate. I would love to know why these priests and nuns aside from sexual abuse were so mean. Opus Dei? Where you inflict harsh punishment, upbringing in home, where did this meaness come from. I had two nun teachers in school who were mean. One hit my hand with a ruler other made me stand in the closet. Thank God I just went to school and went home. Those poor kids lived there round the clock! Where was their kindness empathy and compassion. ? Love to see a documentary on this on strict catholic upbringing, why priests and nuns go into service, though many really are sincere, devout and kind, no blemishes. Do these mean clerics go in because they can’t face life? Or are forced this service by family, mental illness, etc. Not excusing horrors of what they did, just would like to under stand psychologically their minds. I hope W5, 60 minutes delve into that. Not just sexual and physical abuses, but why? The causes, etc.

Genocide is the deliberate and systematic destruction of a racial, political, or cultural group. It most definitely is cultural genocide. The Federal government put in place specific laws to kill Native Americans. People received money for the scalps of Native Americans. All they had to do was bring in scalps. In some areas of the country where all of the Native Americans were already killed off, people began killing Europeans to take their scalps in for money. They would dye the hair so people would think they were the scalps of Indians.
