He's a good squad player and in his defence i reckon he's being played out of position and should be in a more defensive role, as you see bruno getting into the attacking positions he's in, his delivery, patience and ability on the ball is much better and its making longy look shitter than he is. But i kna what you mean.
Longstaff was being praised for his football last season and so long as he's paired up with Joelinton for the majority of next season I can see him being praised again. The problem this season is he hasn't had the type of support he's needed around him midfield. Tonali may be able to fill that role as well for him we'll just have to see, unfortunately the likes of Anderson don't.
