Because some people post 'undesirable' (sales, spam, nasty,...) comments, and it isn't worth the hassle of dealing with those people. It all depends on your channels purpose.

Well there are some people who don’t want hate from showing there face so that could also be why.
So helpful! I feel like my videos were being sabotaged by some people I know who don't want me to succeed. I started getting all these dislikes, I feel better now that they are not for public display.

Seems so. You can still view those likes and dislikes in your CZcams Studio but only you can see them.

Thanks for the info. I don't see user ratings on mine. I only have one video though, not sure if that makes a difference or not. I see "More Metrics" but nothing under there. I see a graph/chart for the stats of the song too. Any ideas?
I watched your video (2ice), I didn't really noticed how I turn off (likes - dislikes). CZcams, must have this facility on its (website).
Turn off (likes, dislike, share, comments).
People shows their "likes & dislikes" by comment with many different ways, if I don't like a video. I write down the worst of the worst one to express my anger.
The same, if I like a video, I write down my thoughts. From my point of view, I exercise my knowledge and work the cells of my brain to deliver my thoughts.
(Likes & dislikes), is only for those who are highly toxic and totally (100%) carcinogens viewers and probably they never went through school while they were still students back in the days!

NOT TRUE, none of these is on the CZcams the studio. U click edit and takes you to the same choices that utube has.
Is there a way to hide when someone likes/dislikes a comment I made on a video or even block them from liking/disliking but still allow them to comment on my comments?

I can only deduce that as turning these off on a video would reduce interaction with followers it would have a negative effect on the algorithm.
Even dislikes (although no longer visible as a count by the viewers) do still show interaction that can only affect the algorithm positively.
That being said it is still a good idea to set your restrictions to hold potentially offensive words and links for review.
It does discourage toxic viewer to spam dislikes at least imo experience

Did you ever noticed anything like huge amount of likes all of sudden after the video upload? Recently, each time i upload a video, have a situation like i have for example 20-5o video views and 1000's of likes. Why is that happening?

Now a days comments are not enabling despite doing all these steps. My son has a CZcams channel and whenever he uploads a video I have to Enable comments but for the last few days these steps are not working. Can you help?
Due to very inappropriate comments left by predators on CZcams videos made by children, CZcams's algorithm blocks comments.
I noticed this with my 11 year old cousin's channel, though he only got occasional comments from friends.

Im doing this because 2 random people just disliking my video, even when I streamed it was on the starting soon screen and they instantly disliked, it discourages me but thank you for showing me!
Some people are just toxic and petty - to the extent that they do not even watch your content, they just buy dislike bot, put your channel in it and everytime you go live / upload content, you instantly get tons of dislikes.
