Thanks! Used this video to wrap my lyra for pole. For other peeps here with Lollypop lyra from X-pole. 1 roll of M-tape is enough for a little less than a half of the hoop.

Hi thanks for this, super helpful! Ive just unwrapped my hoop for the first time and its super sticky. Any tips to remove it or do you think it would be ok to wrap over the sticky stuff? I have the firetoys spray stuff but hasnt made a difference. Thanks ❤

Tysm I haven’t a wrapped my hoop since I got in the winter and it wasent slippery but it’s warm out and slippery I couldent hold a mermaid for more then 3 seconds

Hi my hoop is 90cm and I'm 157cm, the size of your hoop depends on how tall you are and your preference. To get the right size you need to sit on a chair, measure from the chair to the top of your head and add 10cm. I personally prefer a smaller hoop :)

Thank you! No you don't have to wrap your hoop, it's just personal preference :) I use strops, carabiners and a swivel to hang my hoop, I get most of my equipment from www.firetoys.com

How often should you wrap your hoop

That totally depends on how much use your hoop gets. My hoop is used on average 4hrs a day, 5 days a week and I rewrap it around every 3/4 months, if you use it a couple of times a week you could go ages without needing to rewrap it :)
