This is truly a moving show with AMAZING performers. Dancing & vocals both incredible. I laughed, I cried, I clapped, I danced in my seat....can't wait to see it again! and again!
From the moment I saw this at the Shubert 12/2009 i knen I would see these folks at the Tonys!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I was right.............see ya next Sunday!!
Loved every minute of it. I wanted to stand up and dance. What a show! The songs fantastic, the singers fantastic and the whole show was just absolutely fantastic. This is my kind of music!
I went to see this show last night and I can't even describe the amazement that came out of this show! It was breathtaking! Huey was played by Kevin Massey the understudy for Adam Pascal and I really believe that he was the best fit for the show so far. He played Huey like he was supposed to. And Montego? So beautiful and just stole the show! Amazing and I can't wait to see it again soon! Favorite musical ever!
THIS SHOW IS AMAZING!! Chad Kimball wasn't the best here.... Search Kyle Kleiboeker singing it- he was in Hairspray. Not likely to play that role, but he sounds awesome.
Don't get me wrong - I love the show, and both of these songs, but if you had to pick 2 songs from Memphis to do a medley of, these are the 2 worst ones to combine.
that white guy is appalling- can't sing! Adam Pascal really sang that Memphis song terrifically! Montego Glover is great but i must say i found the script n lyrics to the songs somewhat shallow
