  • Hi everyone! We finally got some nice weather here so I took the time to practice my transitions, jumps, and crossovers. Dreaming of the day where I can skate back to back days again with no pain. Also my backup skates (story in the video) gave me blisters so I have to wait for those to heal before I can skate again. I hope you enjoy watching me find joy in skating!
    Thank you for watching!

I felt those right crossovers. I hate them but alas they're a thing you gotta learn. Take it easy on yourself. 🤗

Thank you! I am definitely trying not to overdue it 😊 I'm so glad someone else can understand my struggles with those dang right crossovers!

Do you think the toe stops were slightly loose or not far enough in? It looks like you still have plenty of thread left. If you want to try saving the plates, contact some local machine shop and see if they'd clean up the threads for you. Should be quick and cheap to do.
Nice to see you rolling again, Moose. 😃

Honestly I think it could possibly had not been far enough in when I look at the damage again but I did check them before I went out to skate and nothing looked off and they were tightened before I got there. I'll have to see if I have machine shop near me! That's a great idea!
      Thank you! 😁

Hi! I like your bont videos, thinking about buying a pair!
Just wondering if you got the same size in your black bonts as in your last pair? How did you find them? Do you think you would fit a larger insole in them?
    Thank you!

Hi there! Thank you! Parkstar's are great skates especially if you have wider feet.
Yes! Both my grey Parkstar's and these black ones are the same size. I got both of these pairs off the Bont website (grey part were customized with the MyBont design your own and the black pair are the all black vegan Parkstars) which has instructions for how to find your size. I wear a women's size 8-8.5 shoes and my feet measure at 250 cm. I got a size 5.5 for my Parkstars and they fit perfectly!
I don't think I would be able to fit a larger insole in them because they are a perfect fit and I don't have much room, but I do have a pair of FP Insoles in them and don't have an issues with those insoles being in there!

      Cool!
Nice to know! I used their chart (245-246 mm) and it put me in a 5 or 5.5 but I also want to put an FP insole in them. Was thinking about the kingfoam orthotic elite but they look pretty thick. I was thinking I should go for the 5.5 so the boot wont run to small but I do want that snug fit!
Well, I guess the only way to know is to try it out your self but it's a hustle to return them. Trying to do all the research I can before ordering them :P :)
