FINALLY someone who can take the steps that are needed to do this! Thank you. If someone disliked this video means either it was too simple for them (because they are advanced photo shoppers) or they didn't practice the steps. I have learned that using photoshop does take practice, so learn the steps and begin implementing practice as part of it. If you're too frustrated or short on time, then seek out someone else to do the job for you, because it won't be an instant thing to correct your photo. Even in Lightroom, you will also be adjusting small things, that also takes practice. Photography and editing is an art and that takes time. Enjoy the learning!

Interesting technique but, for this kind of retouch, I prefer a simple curve adjustment as demonstrated by Dave Cross in Creative Live followed by frequency separation based healing for the border if there is a linen like texture. It is very effective!

    Hello my friend
I think you took the long and difficult road, you could make a duplicate layer, then make a mask on the target area, then from the plate Hue/Saturation, You can get the same degree of color, and then processing the edges ..
With my appreciation for you and your pleasant and useful thoughts.

Can someone tell me what is the point of using the Hue saturation adjustment layer in step 1? Because in step 2, we create a mask, right? So couldnt we directly have started with that & created the mask on that area and then add in all the curves and stuff? I'm not sure I understand why we refined and adjusted the range in step one?

Umesh, amazing brilliant as always! However, as an old person with hard of hearing issues, please do no play your theme music in the beginning of a session any more or reduce the volume. I was distracted by the music notes and didn't listen to what you were saying. I was trying to find the source of the noise and was checking open tabs like crazy. Secondly, I could not distinguish your voice from the music so most of the introduction was lost. You are not alone in these production values problems for those with hearing problems. There are lots of sites I have to turn off because of this problem..

The textures were retained. I don't know if the same thing will work with same colors with different shades as in the case of the sweat. I had to do it only once.
