On the rat trap one fellow on CZcams bored a hole in the other end and staked the trap down. Great setup and information. Don't think I will need a beaver trap any time soon, but still good to know.

What are you going to use for stakes? I noticed that you didnt have any in this video. In my own humble opinion, I'd go with cable & earth anchors verses rebar. They would be easier to pack.
My first pack basket was an ALICE pack with a small plastic garbage can in it. The can highly extended the life of the ALICE pack!!!

People always think...I can fish or hunt if the SHTF scenario develops......but they don't realize is lakes and ponds will get fished out and the game will get so skidish they will be very hard to shoot---snares and traps do the work while you sleep

This is cool in all but drowning an animal to me is very cruel no affence but I see it as Jill it fast so it doesn't suffer
