So many of my friends were defending Lexi making that play without anyone’s consent. It really rubbed me the wrong way. It seemed like she just want the attention on her for once. Just cuz you feel ignored doesn’t mean you employ unethical practices in your art. I feel like just like her play, season 2 was just messy and had no real point it wanted to get across.

Not say what ash did wasn’t dumb it was, but I think of it like this yes, the kid smart but he also a kid, a kid that would do anything for his brother to keep him safe. He was raised having to be hard and around violence, yes he had fez who I believe tried to raise him with some sort of love and was never violent with him, but it would be silly of us to think that being in the world they were in that he didn’t go up seeing that the only way to survive. That all to say that ash was a kid who was scared that his brother was going to be taken away for something he did so he did the only thing he knew and choose violence and think in his head he would die for his brother but I don’t actually think he thought that dieing was actually an option.

Yeah, I was so disappointed with season 2. After the first episode I expected a lot more. If I'm being honest, I think I watch the show because I really love the characters I was presented to in season 1. I hope Sam hires people to help him write good stories for the characters he created
YES in my eyes she is the villain, but the problem is not the character itself, but how it was written. I would've LOVED if it was potraid like from a very shy person who doesn't know how to interact to a girl who in order to express herself humiliates her friends. In that case she would've appeared like a character with flaws and not like a bitch sister.
Tbh since lexi doesn't do much bad things I'm totally fine with the play. I'm biased yes because she's my favorite. But her play tbh does help rue alot
