Mechanics:
- Guess whether the number is higher or lower.
-Stored points will not be lost when you guess incorrectly
-Temporary points will risk being completely lost if a wrong number is guessed.
- if you win, you can risk another win to try and get interest on your temporary points. Each blue light indicates how many more points you will earn
-The creature doesn’t move in the light. You hit the switch to not only prevent it from moving, but also see how close it is to you. You only get 3 unless the wheel of fate is kind to you.
-“Make your own luck” guarantees you a correct guess with the caveat being an alarm sounds off that makes the creature move faster and the numbers take a bit to be shown.
-Wheel of Fate will hurt you more than help you, but again, you can risk it in case it does help you.
-Ignore it all and say you don’t understand it or that the game is rigged even when you already had enough points to secure a win
So it’s showing what’s it’s like to be. A gambling addict in a horror setting
I like how he gets told explicitly what the light does, pops it for no reason and wastes it, gets told the monster moves towards noise, and then tries transferring 30 points in a row with a machine that makes a ton of noise in absolute darkness.
