I don’t know what l am more excited about this Podcast or the new season of Married to Real Estate. Congratulations to you both wishing you continued happiness and success
Thank you so much for the love babe!
I know right! I love both shows, and I love them both!
Love them! A fun couple 🙂
I'm a big fan of you both, and kudos for Mike wanting to try a different avenue. Egypt, this is your old stomping ground. We know you are a big personality, and that independence definitely pops up from time to time. It's not a bad thing. Just sometimes allow Mike the space to finish his questions and responses. Overall, I love this. Thank you to the Jordans for dropping gems 💎 and being transparent.
The best reality show on tv. I love the positive vibes and amazing talent Egypt and Mike bring to media.
This podcast is so so needed in everyway
My parents were married for sixty four years neither cheated on each other at all.
God fearing holy ghost spirit filled parents
Yes this is my first time listening to this podcast and I needed to hear these things, not because I didn’t know them but to hear so many couples goes through the same issues at home. Montel and his wife Kristin inspired me to do better. My parents have been married for 53 years still going today. I have been married for 13 years and I have gone through it. But by the grace of God we are still going hard at it. The devil don’t want unity on anything, all he wants is divisions.
Good stuff
My husband and I said the same. Divorce is not an option. We had hard times but thirty one years later being married we’re still friends.
Happy for you
I've been married for 26 years and I still found gems in this pod cast. Loved both couples❤
This is going to help soooo many people.. my boyfriend proposed and I said yes but we have to go to marriage counseling before we do
Yes Mike and I went through counseling up front as well. It truly set us up for success.
This was absolutely fantastic!! My hubby and I have been married for almost 34 years and we choose to continue to learn abour ourselves, each other, and marriage. We met as a freshman and senior in high school and even though we were young, we knew that we held each other's hearts. We married early and made the decision that we will remain even through the times we struggled. Our choice was and is that the quality of our years together is more important than the quantity if the years. At 53 and 57 y/o one of the things we realized is that we could break the generational curse of divorce or staying married for the sake of staying married. We're also working on changing our relationship with money and setting up our family's financial future. Again, changing generations. It's important for others to see that marriage is a good thing. Thank you for starting this podcast Egypt and Mike. We watch your HGTV show and now look forward to your podcast. Continued peace.
This is beautiful I love marriage we my husband and I are 14yrs in and I’m still looking for so much together ❤❤Mrs. Santrell Green thanks for sharing your beautiful story.🥰
I'm not married yet, but God is preparing my heart and these are things I need to know. Good info.
I love your second name💖. Me too, this is preparing me for my future husband
Montell hasn’t aged at all! They both look great and great together! I love how transparent and honest they are…May God continue to Bless your Union!
My Husband and I been married 32 years! Thank you God! 🙏🏽❤️
LOVE Montell and Kristin Jordan!!! They are so transparent about their journey and their testimony is SO POWERFUL!!! May GOD continue to Bless their marriage and all that they do 🙌🏾🙏🏿🙌🏾🙏🏿
Lord, have mercy! My sister sent this to me on a low feeling day and OMG!!!IM in tears because the Jordan's testimony is powerful, deep, and confirms the necessity of certain blessings can be painful, yet its necessary.
Wow this was really good!…made me see Montell in a whole new light!…Mike & Egypt I love y’all chemistry together! Great job Fam!
Yes he is pretty dope!
I believe you can forgive and still not be obligated to stay when infidelity hpns. I never judge those who stay bc I get it, but just bc someone leaves after being cheated on doesn’t make them weak, especially when that process is not an easy one.
That was AMAZING!!!! I learned so much in those 50 minutes. Can't wait for Montell and Kristen to come back to share some more jewels. I'm subscribed and looking forward to the next episode!!!!!
Amazing!! Thank you and stay tuned for the next ep
I do appreciate the level of submission and oneness Montell and Kristen are committed to. Take divorce and separate accounts off the table and watch God work.❤ Thank you for this discussion. It was so encouraging.💐
I REALLY enjoy watching their show on HGTV "Married to Real-E$tate " CONGRATS! On your 18 years of marriage. Generational Wealth, that's what's up (Leaving a Legacy)!
I’ve been a fan of Egypt’s for years so when I learned of this channel I got super excited. This series makes me hopeful in my marriage. I would like to see them interview Tab & Chance. I think that would be a good time!
Ditto
My husband and I got married when I was 26 years old. I am now 51 and yes it was infidelity on both sides. We both decided to stay and work on our marriage, because we truly was in love with each other. When you get married at a young age and you both come from broken families that never had an example of what real love and marriage look like, it can be hard. We decided to stick it out and be the example to our family and children what real unconditional love look like and that’s forgiveness.
This was phenomenal. I loved the camaraderie between all of you. I so appreciate the transparency from the Jordan’s. I am praying for a lasting God-fearing marriage one day.
EGYPT has been and still IS an INSPIRATION for all of US New Yorkers 🍎 as she continues to emulate smart, entrepreneurial, mommies who are creative, and financially literate! BTW the 🏠new season with E & M 💍is BOMB 💣 !!
That means so much. Thank you!
Beautiful and brilliant conversation...I love this grown and mature dialogue 🙏🏾❤️🙌🏾
I LOVE what Egypt said, "have multiple streams of Joy"!!
By ALLL means the most important.
INDEEEEEEEED
I am not married, but I enjoyed this Podcast very much with Montell Jordan and his wife. This was so good. I am excited to see future Podcasts and watch Married to Real Estate. Congratulations!
Divorce was never on our table until it was. After 42 years together, he was unfaithful, and wanted out. How I wish I had my own money. But it made me determined to make it on my own!
Let me share a story with you:
When I was a lil girl my father married a woman who had a daughter and 3 sons. My mother and him argued about what he was not providing for me and my younger sister and each time his reply was I can not take care of 2 households. My father never kept his promises of visiting me and my sister and that's when I decided I will never make promises and I will always have my own. The truth is we can't guarantee to forever lock-in a specific set of emotions. As parents we will always love our children. But, would u feel comfortable having ur grandchildren around ur adult child accused of murder or rape? Just as ur ex husband changed his mind about staying with you after 42 years the message is clear: Always have your own 💯 My heart goes out to you for the emotional deception💔
But he was a great husband for 4 decades so count your blessings amid the fiasco. He's probably being gaslighted by a younger woman and pretty soon his 🍆 won't function properly😅 But seriously, I'll send prayers for ur heart to mend as u learn to become independent and learn to trust again
Thank you Egypt and Mike for creating this podcast. This is amazing for singles as well. As a woman of God who is waiting. I’m intentional about being wise and wholistic even with my keeping my finances a priority. Thank you… thank you…
OMG, this waSoooo wonderful. Much needed as my husband and I are facing a similar situation. May God continue to use and Blessing your marriages.
Good analogy about the gravity rule and general principles
Listen I am a divorced woman and I lost 3 of my 4 children as a result of this and I am so loving you creating this space and your guests hats and clothes off to them. Love the transparency love it love love it.
Marriage is still a desire for me and so I am listening to these things to build myself up heal and correct myself In preparation for a better marriage next time around.
Mike and Egypt are one of my favorite couples. I love their television shows and the way they renovate homes and balance their family life. This podcast is another feather in their hat. And to have the Jordans as their first interview, amazing. keep up the good work.
I’m not married, but I am really enjoying you guy’s podcast.
This is excellent! My Dad, however, did say to me, "If you ever get married, make sure you have a bank account and credit card that he knows nothing about. Because if that n#%$# start actin' crazy, you can get out!" He followed up with, "Don't you get yourself into a position you can't get out of!" Thus, the Jordan Family model is ideal. Yet, we also have to consider a conversation on financial abuse as a reason why some married couples keep their money separated.
My granddad told me that! "Keep you a lil something separate" so yeah, I've heard it as well.
Love Brutha Mike & Egypt. I love their show Married to Real Estate on HGTV and now their new podcast show. Good Stuff with Montell & Kristin Jordan.
I wonder if the marriage would have stayed together if Mrs. Jordan was out having many discretions. When people stop saying I’m staying because God told me to stay or blaming a devil for coming against them. We are God, everything we do is because we choose to do it! There is nothing or no-one outside of self. The kingdom is within!
Thank you both for putting this together. I said " everyone and they mama has a podcast" at the same time but not everyone has This podcast. Just came across this gem today. Up to episode 3. Thank you both. ( uk)
Montel and Kristen Jordan, thank you for being so open and honest about your journey. Mike & Egypt you rock! Love yall and all that you are doing...
As usual, nothing but the best from you two!! I too have no idea how you have the time to put something else on your schedule, but I’m so glad you did!! ❤❤❤❤
Awwww amazing thing to say.
Thank you so much Egypt for listening to Mike and starting this podcast. I have sent it to a few friends and subscribed because let me tell you, you guys are bringing EVERYTHING that we need to know as married people and I LOVE how you guys play off each other and the guests. To God be the glory.
I love this show. My first husband was steeped in infidelity loop, unfortunately he didn’t learn and we divorced but what I did after was I asked God for a man who loved God bc I knew he would show him how to love me. And the surrender piece is brilliant and I think an asset in any marriage. The other thing is this needs the light shined on it!
I love this. I've been married this year 20 years but together for 23 years. I do understand infidelity and the work to keeping a married together. The younger generation needs to hear this because they're the ones that's so quick to leave a marriage at the first sign of trouble, instead of putting God first and working on it. Great job with this podcast.
Wow! This was so powerful! Thanks so much to you all!
Thanks for watching! We are only getting started.
Egypt & Mike, if y'all been together for 18 years and married for 16 years, I would consider y'all as EXPERTS!!! 🙂
Oh my goodness, THIS is our (hubby and me) new favorite podcast! Absolute truth and transparency. Thank you so much.
This was amazing!!!! Thank you so much for this. My husband and I have been married for 30 years and it is so hard to find and much less engage with other couples who are in the same marriage boat 😊. Looking forward to future podcasts.
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 So happy for you guys, you both are naturals at this. Keep making moves…love it! ❤ Montell and Kristin were the perfect way to start the podcast!😍🥰
I’m so excited about both this podcast and your show. My wife and I are major fans and supporters of y’all’s movement. I’m listening and learning to grow in my life and my family’s life.

Goosebumps the whole episode. Montel and Kristin are the real deal. Thank you Mike and Egypt for this podcast. The truth always makes life easier, no matter how piercing to the heart it may be. It makes all the crooked paths straight ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉
I tell my husband that we need to surround ourselves with married couples like this. He prefers just us but I think it is healthy.
A year later, and im just finding this podcast. I love Mike and Egypt and Married to Real Estate. I just finished watching the episode with Trina Braxton and Von Scales....(SO GOOD!!) I went scrolling and found this one and SUBSCRIBED!!! These podcasts are so timely, and so many gems to glean from! I'm 53, have never been married, and am trying my best to hold on to hope that it's for me. At least I dont cry about it anymore. That's a good step in gaining trust in God and waiting on His timing for me. Keep building me, LORD, so that I'm ready 🙏🏾 I know I'm a good thing, and my husband will find me. 🙏🏾🙏🏾 THANKS MIKE AND EGYPT FOR STARTING THIS PODCAST...BLESSINGS TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY!!! 🙏🏾🙏🏾
Great podcast and topic, but I don't believe there is such a thing as unconditional love in a marriage/intimate relationship. There are always conditions.
Exactly
I love how engaged Mike & Egypt are and listen ❣️
Together in marriage 27 years and together for thirty one years. Yes, still love each other made the decision to keep loving ❤each other and person, those close to us 🎉as well as many others.
Why do we have to go through heartache? It just makes me sad. Period. 😪
I love this podcast and am not even married, but just listening to Montell and Mrs. Jordan is so refreshing. Being married for 28 years is truly a blessing and the advice he gave on tools you can use about divorce not being a option 🙏. And two stop trying to balance things that needs to be prioritize makes really good sense. Thanks to the Jordan family 🥰
I love you all. I don’t know how you found time to add something else to your plate, but I am happy you did. Your podcast is great.
Thank you for the glowing feedback.
Omg this is so refreshing please bring no tell and Kristin back
I am not married, but the fact that one of my favorite couples has a podcast; chile that doesn't even matter! I AM HERE FOR IT ALL!!!!! Yas Sherrods YAS!!!!!!!
This was so beautiful and wonderful to watch....both couples give me hope to one day find a great partner in life. A man that has summited to God!
For better or worse. Worse can come in many ways. You guys are encouraging so many!
Wow! I'm so happy 😊 this popped up on CZcams. I watched the whole episode and my husband and I had a conversation about the episode. Love this. I can see growth in our marriage listening to this one episode. I will watch the others. Thanks 😊 🙌
C’mon girl!!!! We make the decision every day to stay married!!! I like that!!
"You know what I don't and I trust you"- Kristin Jordan (to God)
I love it y’all! Been cheering y’all on!
This is soooooo good. I can't wait for more episodes!!!
I truly enjoyed tuning in. The topics, embracing the differences in marriage, and that “comparison kills” is sooooo true. I enjoyed the analogies to make the topics relatable. You have something here! Keep em coming. God bless.
I met Mike in Playa Del Carmen Mexico in 2014. He was a DJ for a wedding. Such a nice gentleman Very proud of his family. We talked and he asked me a question about HGTV I replied are you Egypt's husband. I have watched the channel since 1996. We laughed he said yes everyone says that to him. So glad to see black love flourish. Praying for their future business ventures. Be Blessed.
Loved Montell and Kristin! Wanted to hear their "one to go on and/or grow on"

This conversation about submission is EVERYTHING
Congratulations to the both of you! I just learned of your HGTV show and I love it! I love what you guys are doing in the space as well. May God continue to bless you both and your family. This is How We Do It was my jam. More importantly, to see what God has done in their marriage and lives can only be done by Him. This episode blessed me because I have been married going on 26 years in March and there is so much more work to be done in me individually and collectively. The wisdom and the revelation the Jordan’s have is clearly evidence of God working in and through them. Thank guys for being obedient to God in bringing this podcast to fruition:
I love what you both bring to the table. May God continue to bless you both and the family. I'll keep listening and watching
This is powerful! Thank you so much for your transparency. This is helping somebody!
This was so good didn’t want it to end!

Egypt and Mike. You two are real, adorable, a model of excellence. Thanks for sharing your lives and talents so candidly with the world, especially the black world. Folks need your brand of love, success and sharing to inspire.
Wow this is so powerful. I’m so excited for you too. ❤❤❤
Submission is a beautiful word and pertains to order, peace, blessing, wisdom and power. When you submit to a process and/or authority it is out of your own volition, and therefore is a catalyst to vision and victory. We submit in many areas of our lives and it is to our benefit when aligned with the Word and will of God.
This was so refreshing I can’t wait to send it to my husband to watch.
I loved it. It was very informative, fun, and very enjoyable to watch. 👍 Can't wait for Episode 2.
