  • Making a mug probably would be the first thing that you think of when it comes to pottery. Because I think of it too! And if you want to make it yourself, here's a perfect video for you.

    You don't need a pottery wheel, nor making a mold. All you need is your hands and patience. 🌞
    I provided a lot of tips here, but if there's something that you find unclear, feel free to ask me in the comment section below!

    What a beautiful mug you made. I love the glaze. And the video is so relaxing. Usually I am not a fan of music in demostrating videos, but the music you choose is low and relaxing. 🌺

    Hi Khonsa, I had a question. After handbuilding a piece for how long can it be stored before it's fired or glazed!?

    • @SadurStudio
      @SadurStudio  Před 3 lety +1

      Hi Sherry. Once you have finished making your pottery, leave them for at least 3 - 7 days (depending on your weather and your pottery size) until they become dry perfectly (greenware). You can google the character of the greenware if you want to be more sure about it. And that's when you finally can fire them for bisque firing. Then, you can glaze them. Lastly, you have to fire them again for a glaze firing.
      Hope this explanation helps you. 😉
