Same here, Blitzø's dads horns were basically twisted down to his kneecaps, his horns were practically the same size as his entire body

Personally, I kind of like the idea that maybe Satan more or less conquered hell before Lucifer showed up, and relegated him and the Imps from the wrath ring to a lower status. Which would explain why they are so widespread.

@@sprinkleman8103 Only in the later Judeo Cristian mythology. Originally in the old Hebrew testaments before Christianity came to be there was no Satan. Satan came about with the new testament and the birth of Christianity after Jesus death and was more of a term used for beings who would be antagonistic to god will and not a being itself as the word translate to adversary and Lucifer was just a fallen angel. In the original old testaments there really was no Satan it was just God himself being a moody diva being a blissful and merciful in one minute then bitter sending calamities the other cause people weren’t praising him or praising him right.

i think in an older video it was said that hell has been around as long as earth has, which makes sense if we have adam, eve, lilith, lucifer, etc
Interesting to note the color differences as well
Wrath imps seem to have a more scarlet tone, while Pride imps and Greed imps seem to lean towards a more crimson tone; also most imps from the Greed Ring seem to be paler.

I feel like the imps in the envy ring will look like deep sea creatures or possibly more fish like, since the ruler of the envy ring is possibly Leviathan, and the ring itself will possibly look like the ocean, because the Leviathan is described as a giant sea monster.

Cartoon Universe says that Striker is a hybrid between imp and a demon from Envy
Something I noticed, a lot of the imps eyes are yellow with black pupils, while most of the succubi have yellow eyes, black pupils, and red irises. Blitzø had red irises, unlike the many imps we see, and the small white haired succubus boy, along with the buffer white haired imp with succubus traits, both only have yellow eyes with black pupils.
pretty sure all imps have red irises, but most imps only have their irises show in certain situations like when they're scared

@@daffytaffy5966 It could still make sense, something that match here is that all this imps get their eyes like this just in stressing moments or euphoric moments, while Blitz seems to always have the eyes like this no matter the situation
About Crimson, I think that Moxxie's father, while a resident of Greed and a big name in the mob world, is a Wrath Imp. Blitz mentioned to Stolas that his employees were from Wrath, Moxxie seemed also to hint at the fact that he has roots there and going by how both he and Crimson do look closer to the Imps from Wrath rather than those from Greed, it is more likely that, like Italian mobsters settling in the US, Crimson (or his father) migrated from Wrath to Greed, and built up his crime empire in a rapid succession by keen economic insight, being resourceful and cunning and last but not least, being really cutthroat and ruthless. (Which would work even better if he was from Wrath, while the Greed Imps have Avararice flowing through their veins, Crimson's origin as a citizen of Wrath could make up for it by being far better at being violent.)

@@Birbzz While Moxxie's mother could be a Wrath Imp as well, just her being a wrath imp wouldn't account for Crimson looking like a Wrath Imp, horn-wise. (If we go with the assumption that Greed Imps have horns on the side of their head, while Wrath imps have them on the top of their head).
I'll be honest, I find the theory about imp horns pretty shakey at best, especially since it's cannon confirmed that Moxxie's mom and dad are from different places, and his mom seems to pretty clearly be a Wrath imp because of her design aesthetics which much better match the old western/Hispanic theme in Wrath.
@Falkyrja Moxxie's mom is confirmed to be a Wrathian. His dad is from Greed.
I would really like to see some Imp Goetia hybrids, I could imagine they are very tall, but are red and have weird horns, it would even be interesting if they have a special function to royalty, like working as body guards, hitmen or in secret missions only royals know about. They would be like one the most kept secrets of all.
i'm not sure if Goetias would be allowed to cross breed like that, they seem like a royal family even with Stolas being selectively married off

Honestly I really like the theory that Striker is half shark demon. He has a lot of the traits that we've seen on them (the eyes, the spikes and patterns of his tail, the coloration, the snout)
I just noticed Blitzo's father has a billy goat beard. Combined with the horns, that could be significant.

His horns are more ram-like. Also, I noticed that some imps have ram/lamb-like features. Just look at Moxxie's digitigrade legs. This is also kind of ironic, as we've seen plenty of lambs in heaven, and they might be equivalent to hell's imps.
I wonder if Striker is part shark demon, mainly because of his ringed eyes, protruded nose, and larger tail compared to most other imps. I noticed about all shark demons in the latest episode had ringed eyes and that most imps have little to no nose protrusion say for a few.
That's what I was thinking too. It'd be cool if he was part loanshark. As a sucker for world building, I absolutely love the diversity between imps in Helluva Boss
The horns could be shaped based off the native species. Like Some Succubus Imp breeds have similar horns to Succubus. Or how Greed Imps have certain shapes
It would make sense that native Prime demons are reptile-like or snake-like, as Lucifer in some biblical mythology was represented as a dragon (and the snake and all). Blitz and his family's faces all look a bit reptilian.

6:25 "cross-dressing female imps" ... there's another trait you didn't mention; they all were bald. So is Buckzo.. though he has chin hair. Tilla has hair but her & Buckzo's kids, Blitzo & Barbie Wire, do not.
Originally it was supposed to be that Blitzo had 'early balding' but that was changed as we see in the flashback in s1' last episode. Blitzo, Fizzarolli and Barbie Wire were bald as children. At first I was thinking it was something of a family trait, but Fizz AND that group of "cross-dressing female imps" were also bald; so it's likely there's at least one sub-species that is doesn't have hair on their head.
Also Note the base of the horns are different on Buckzo & Blitzo than other male imps. Most have white as first stripe against the skull that blends into the white hair, but Buckzo & Blitzo have horns that start with black stripes. Also the horn base isn't round but curves around the skull. Going back to look at those bald female imps at 6:25 , some of their horns are similar to Blitzo's in that they curve to shape against the skull.
Buckzo, Blitzo & Barbie Wire= their horns makes me think of goats, not the small horns you see on farm goats but mountain goats. There are some species that have huge horns like Buckzo and other that curls like Barbie Wire.
I think Moxxie's legs are very unique. I didn't see an other imp like him except his mother and some sloth-imps (that we believe are from sloth. You know the candel-head demons). I wonder if him and his mother are mixed too !
it is possible that his mother has some baphomet heritage...it could explain why she doesn't look like Waxi, who is also an Imp/Baphomet hybrid, because her heritage goes a bit further back so she's more Imp

One thing that would be a great inclusion for the universe would be the Nephilim or Rephaim.
They're sort of similar: Giants who are excellent warriors, but the differences:
Nephilim are specifically offspring of traitor angels and human women, and they were killed by the flood
Rephaim are the souls of dead kings and warriors of middle eastern kingdoms who are the enemies of Israel, and thus they are punished for their hubris by being banished to the deepest regions of the underworld (Not Hell, at least not at the time their mentions were written)

I still don’t understand how could imps be seen as low level creatures and yet humans have the ability to get different abilities in hell
I assumed it was because humans who died and went to hell CHOSE to be evil on Earth. Imps, being hellborn, are just sorta born into that life style. A human can choose whether or not to commit crimes, and doing so ranks them up higher in Hell. But it is weird how low Imps are viewed with how strong & useful some of them are
Alastor was a wizard who did pacts with gods from voodoo religion. And that's why he is so powerful.
This is just me speculating but maybe the demons who were once humans still get some degree of privilege, since they were originally created "in God's image" or something. And even then, there are a bunch of types of demons who are way more powerful than the sinners
I'd love to see a theory as to why some imps, no matter what age, have no hair while others do. As well as why some imps have black hair when others have white hair.
Male imps have white hair while female imps have black hair. Milly's sister is trans and you can tell by her horns and the fact that her hair is white at the roots
I love that all the imps have these different horn designs, maybe at first they evolved different horn styles the same way creatures on earth did. Different ways to fight, attract mates, protect themselves, and heck maybe like Warthogs an imps horns can just keep growing, like Blitz's father's seemed to have. Over time these designs began to be seen more often in one subspecies of imps or full blooded imps. I'm guessing horns of imps can be cut and filed like nails so especially for the imp/succubi and imp/incubi who would style their horns to make themselves more appealing.

Wally has hair covering the center of his forehead. Could it possibly hide the mark that Blitz and assumingely Barbie Wire have? Barbie has hers crossed off so maybe it’s something you can’t get ride of and have to hide or cross off if you leave the circus?
Crimson and Moxxie were originally from the wrath ring, in the episode The Harvest Moon Festival, Moxxie mentioned being born in Wrath to Millie's father when they're talking about the games, so that def explains why Crimson's hornss don't match horns on other greed imps

I'm still wondering why Imps and Hellhounds are apparently the lowest class of demon in Hell? and how most of but not all of them seem to mainly be servants to higher ranking demons like the overlords and the members of the Goetia family?
Maybe because they lack any special or significant powers that can help them reach a higher social status
Imps are IMPulsive and hellhounds often act on their instincts and emotions. That's why they are so low in chierarchy.

I definitely knew there are different sub species of imps in Hell. Like for example, male imps have thick black stripes on their horns and white hair while female imps have black horns with thin stripes and they have black hair. Striker and Fizzarolli are very different since Striker has abilities like a snake and Fizzarolli has robotic limbs.😈
Male and female imps having gender differences has nothing to do with sub species. That’s like saying male and female deer are sub species because the males have horns and the females don’t.
Fizzarolli's robotic limbs are the result of being a cyborg, its not related to his sub-species of Imp...but we know he's the same sub-species as Blitzo
and then Striker...well he's a hybrid, but I don't think Snake, I think Loanshark

I imagine that a hellhound/imp hybrid would look similar to Nosferatu Zodd in his demon form.
It just occurred to me that that the circus Imps, even female ones like Barbie Wire, don’t have head hair. In real life, animal horns are made up of keratin surrounding a bone core, the same protein that makes up hair, nails, hooves, etc. Perhaps the more extravagant horns of the circus imps occur from a mutation that diverts the keratin that would have gone to hair to the horns.
With that in mind, Blitzo’s mom is probably not of the same subspecies as his dad considering she has hair and less prominent horns than him and her two children.
One thing I wanna point out is that I think depending on skin and hair color/tone that succubus and imps have would be the result of how dark or light the hair and red skin would be if they had a human disguise. Like Verosika and her gang for example. Almost all imps have either white or black hair (doesn’t really matter the gender). I’m a redhead, so if I were an imp, I wonder what my hair and red skin color/tone would be. What do you guys think?🤔
I find it kinda odd that other than blitz his family and some rare imps, only exorcists have those top of the head big curved horns blitz kinda have exactly same horns as most of the exorcist, wonder if there is some connection.

I never even thought about that, I assumed they were higher than imps, but seeing that imps are able to buy/adopt hellhounds then they probably are the lowest class
I noticed that Blitzo and his father have spikes on their backs, I haven't seen others imps like that

Like confusing an imp who works with unlimiting gravity/ channeling the electromagnetic spectrum in a way that it is not being redux'ed being confused as a rabbit imp because of how the others said that they didn't know them. I think Gluttony Ring Imps would be more "insect" like than regular Imps as in instead of having horns they would have antennae and insect like wings. And for some reason, I think Sloth Ring Imps would be well, sloth-like, big claws and they tend to sleep alot.
