Brandon's Personal Best Smallmouth

I was joined by ‪@BrandonHua.Fishing‬ on Dworshak Reservoir in Idaho to (hopefully) catch our personal best smallmouth bass. He achieved his goal on day 1 - this video, and I achieved it the following day - another video to follow this one. This day of fishing is where I really got in tune with my ‪@HumminbirdTV‬ Solix 12 and Mega Live to seek out the Kokanee that the smallmouth were feeding on. This electronics skill set paid off the following day where I caught 96.5 inches of smallmouth, mostly on one point. Brandon's big fish catches, including the 5.84 lb swimbait eating slob on the video thumbnail also came mostly in a single blitz off of a main lake point.

I want to go back in the fall. I know it’s a dicey thing to do that time of year. Winter comes abruptly early. Such an amazing place in the world!

Got one more episode from Dworshak next weekend. Beautiful place, giant smallmouth. It wasn’t automatic though!
