Ivan had my snail since he hatched he’s almost 3 now! What scared me as a first time snail owner was the head wart when they’re sexually maturing. I thought he was sick or bumped his head I was freaking out when I first saw it lol. Thank you for this video I love learning more about being a responsible pet owner

Thank you, this is such an excellent and comprehensive guide! I recently started keeping garden snails, and I think you covered pretty much every single topic i was unsure or wondering about :)

thank you so much, yesterday i found a really cute snail on the road and decided to bring it home, but right now it's leaving in a pretty small plastic container without any soil or whatsever so I'm in the process of doing research on how to set up it's home. Im scared it's gonna die overnight should i be worried?😢

Bot as long as your feeding it they only need dirt to hibernate in or lay eggs in you need breathing holes in the lid to make sure you mist the tub

While I was holding my snail he got unsticky and fell off! His shell cracked and it’s still hanging on by a thread but I was wondering if you had any advice besides more calcium..? He hasn’t understood what that he can eat cuttlebone yet- If you’ve got any suggestions to get him to eat that as well would be appreciated

Can egg shells be a good source of calcium?

      It can be temporarily
but I would recommend using something with more calcium like cuttlefish bone. You can find it in just about any store that has bird items

Hi, thank you for the video,
I have a question: is it okay to put a very small snail ( she is still a baby ) in a big enclosure??
I was kinda scared she wont be able to find food

It should be okay. If you're worried about her finding food you can scatter feed so there will be food nearby no matter where she is. If you have bigger snails in that enclosure, make sure the babies shell is half the size or larger than the bigger snails shell. To make sure they don't accidentally crush her
