The hot water valve leaked on my LG. You should have changed the hot side too. Hot water does more damage. You got me thinking I should change out the cold side too.
I'm planning to replace the washer and dryer in the next year or so anyway. The door switch started giving me an intermittent error last week. It's 12 years old, so, this might be the last repair it gets from me!
