My youngest daughter bought a home and there's a pear tree. We spent 2 days canning 3 bushel of pears. 80 pints of pears, pear sauce, jam and syrup. In that timeframe a friend had 3 peach trees that he offered for us to pick as much as wanted for free so? We picked 3 bushel of peaches. Still on those and I'll be canning tomorrow after church. We have been so blessed in spite of the failed garden crop in this drought. ❤🙏

I've never cooked with cast iron, I bought a 10 in skillet this summer but haven't used it yet. My mom used a large cast iron skillet for everything when I was a kid. Why am i so intimidated by cast iron???? sigh, I have no clue but I am looking forward to your video you mentioned about cast iron! Thanks Patara, big hugs.

It is amazing how much nutrition can be packed into well planned , inexpensive meals. You’ll soon be tightening your belt if you use some of those recipes.😊

The camera now has black, non sticky electrical tape on it. Too much? No. Scales fell off our eyes.

We have had blackberries all this month in Oregon. They are still coming on, too. Love them.

Generic Frozen vegetables are a much better buy and they are available without in additional ingredients. I buy and can them or dehydrate them.
