2:30 1. Eat enough fat
3:34 2. Reduce sugar, starch, and simple carbohydrate intake
4:02 3. Decrease stress
4:55 4. High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT)
6:14 5. Supplements: Zinc, Magnesium, Vitamin D
7:12 6. Intermittent fasting
7:47 7. Lose some weight
8:15 Bonus: Avoid Xenoestrogens

Thanks Ruben.
Dam, that saved me 10min.
:)
Thanks Reuben
Thanks bro
1.) Eat enough fat...good fats of course.
2.) Reduce the amount of sugar you eat.
3.) Decrease stress.
4.) HIIT
5.) Zinc, Magnesium, Vit D
6.) Intermittent fasting
7.) Lose weight
Don't forget about lifting heavy weights. Numerous studies have shown that this is actually the #1 way to increase testosterone in men. Coupled with the above 7 steps AND a proper diet makes a positive outcome practically guaranteed.
Captain Velveeta ...what about olive oil ???
Diet is EXTREMELY important and I'm surprised he didn't mention one thing about it. Olive oil is a great choice to cook with due to its low content of saturated fat and high content of essential unsaturated fats.
Captain Velveeta ..you said GOOD FAT .....what is good fat ..??
i think olive oil also contain hood fat ? and we dont need animal fat if we having olive oil
Well, the outer membrane of the millions of cells in our body is made up of phospholipid layers (which is a fancy word for fat). So without going into too much detail, monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats are essential for body function and especially important for testosterone production in men. Saturated fat has it's place in this process but a very small place. For men over 40, supplements are very important also...nothing hormonal, only vitamins and minerals that 'support' hormonal function. It's more information than I can reply to here so concentrate on doing some research of your own. Nobody is the same so it'll take some tweeking depending on your age and lifestyle. Clean up your diet, fill in the gaps with supplements and commit to a consistent work-out routine and I promise, you will be happy with the results.
Captain Velveeta ....thank you
I'm 53 and it amazes me, that in just 2 generations, people have lost total diet awareness. The fast food companies and the Government have spared no expense in making sure our beloved younger generations eat the absolute worst food to keep Big Pharma employed for the next 50 years. Excellent video Dr. Berry, huge thumbs up
Lol.
@@dstobinski27 Lol to you. Big ideas too big for your small thinking?
Even the so called healthy food is messed with. Don't kid yourself
Money is the root to fatness!
Liar
For decades (basically always) I have been eating bacon, butter and all the so called 'wrong foods'. Been out in the sun much to many people's horror and warnings of dire consequences. I have been diabetic on Insulin almost 40 years. I don't smoke. I am now 70, no one believes I am 70, they think 50. And I don't mean people who flatter to deceive I mean officials that need to know my age. I removed all stress by retiring, and I get exercise by helping on our farm in Thailand in the heat. Your videos ring so many bells for me. I always said that one day someone would tell us that butter and bacon are good for us, and here you are.
What have you been doing in Thailand sir?
@@BAREBRAIN Nothing lol
Low Testosterone can lead to lack of motivation and desire to live life, it can also lead to serious medical problems...
KenDBerryMD does this apply to women too? I don't feel like doing anything at home. I'm overweight and I am desperate because I used to be thin and moderately active.
If you follow all the tips, how long until you see a difference in T levels?
Soy products contains xeno-estrogen too right?
C. Nancy Acevedo ditto. Ild like to know also.

I got divorced 9 years ago , I’m in the best shape of my life
Its amazing what losing 100 and some odd pounds of ugly worthless fat can do....
Women usually get in the best shape to get remarried then they fatten back up
Inspiring 😂
Lol
@Timo Cruz sir life is short it’s not worth it to go backwards , but good luck with your decision
Only for me: 2:30 1. Eat enough fat (cholesterol)
3:34 2. Reduce sugar, starch, and simple carbohydrate intake in order to lower insulin
4:02 3. Decrease stress
4:55 4. High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT)
6:14 5. Supplements: Zinc, Magnesium, Vitamin D
7:12 6. Intermittent fasting (18-24 hours a day)
7:47 7. Lose some weight
8:15 Bonus: Avoid Xenoestrogens-hot plastic,
Thank you, my husband will appreciate information
Be careful with intermittent though! Better to get to 18-24 hours gradually :) alll the best!
How much fat is "enough" though? I eat approx. 1g / kg bodyweight (or 0.5g per lb) would that count as enough?
Thank you for the list!! 👍
Thanks for the succinct facts!

This is a phenomenal video for dads!! Will be sharing with mine today. Thanks again Dr Berry for the content. Let’s optimize!!!!
Love Dr. Ken Berry. Thank you for not pushing products and encouraging consumption of Whole Foods. My stomach and skin is a mess when I’m on following keto. I have a slow function gallbladder and eczema. I’ve learned a lot from you! Thanks!!
Video starts at 2:35
1. Eat fats, cholesterol. Dont be afraid
2. Reduce sugar, starch, simple carbohydrates
3. Decrease bad stress. Relax. Reduce cortisol levels.
4. High intensity interval training. Lift weights, fast running. Raise HGH hormones naturally.
5. Take Zinc 25 to 50 milligrams per day. Take magnesium. Vitamin D. Get sunlight.
6. Intermittent fasting. Fasting for up to 18 hours.
7. Lose weight. Belly fat acts as estrogen in men.
8. Get the zero estrogen out of your diet. Hot Plastics lower Testosterone.
Thanks mate
2nd that, Dave.
Dump the plastic coffee maker for a metal perk pot. Great coffee, less plastic.

You are doing gods work
We love your no BS approach. Thanks for all the great info, we don’t miss any of your videos! 😊
Exactly how I feel..great guy with the correct information for our bodies 👍🏾😃💯
Hey Dr. Berry, I've been watching/listening to you for about 6 yrs. You are an awesome wealth of knowledge and you damn sure know what you're talking about. I've been doing IF/keto since 2017 and your info has been my "go to" for help. Thanks so much for all you do. My name is Stephen Harris, I am 68 yrs old, I live in the Florida Panhandle. Take care my friend and keep the videos coming! 👍
I'm on the same bus as you, my friend. At 66, I decided that retirement had basically put me in the recliner with a beer. Slowly the weight came in along with dropping off the gym and not paying attention to my diet. Decided to go Keto-saurus OMAD and THEN found Dr. Berry's extensive vids. My background is in clinical/laboratory medicine so I should have known better but I guess we're all human beans. Now at 67 I feel better, regained my interest in the gym 3-4x a week, getting stuff done around the wife's house, etc. These vids surely do both help and keep me motivated. I'm in the Panhandle also. Oh, wait...Texas Panhandle...
As always, amazing content doc. Love the way you take a potentially complex topic and break it down for the layman to process and understand. Keep hitting us with the truth.
One of the most informative videos I've seen in years, thank you Doc.
Awesome info... Thanks for the heads up Doc 👍
I just did a similar video on this a few days ago. Mainly on diet. All I eat are test boosting foods, healthy fats, take magnesium, lift heavy, all compound/athletic movements. Have done so for two decades. I’ll be 50 years old in 6 months, natural, and still moving huge weights. Still going strong. Plenty of lead in the pencil!
Love your straightforward common sense approach to health. Thank you sir!
Thanks, Dr. Berry. This was very helpful.
2:34 the video actually begins
Thx
Everything things mentioned by this Man is correct. He has some his research and knows what he is talking about. Thanks Ken.
Thanks Doc. Everything you said is spot on
Thank you Doctor. Very accurate and useful information. Appreciate it!
Great info. I have been looking for ways to increase my testosterone levels and have gone back to playing tennis and exercising regularly. But with the information I have been obtaining, yours appear to be the best and more complete for my needs. Thanks for your way of presenting those facts for me to learn more about ways to stay healthy. Thanks
You just blew my mind. For years I had cup noodles for breakfast at work. Drank leftover water out of bottles left in truck. 3 years lost 20lbs muscle felt horrible. Thanks to you and others I'm turning it around. Thank you so much.
Update?
@504nola went from 180 to 160 I'm 5'11". Gained back to 170. Blood pressure down, inflammation down, eye floaters gone , bowel pain gone, sleep better, probably something else better to.
Thanks Dr Berry. Your advice is greatly appreciated.
Very good summary of an interesting area. Nice combination of factual and normative content. You tell us what we need to know to hit the goals we want to reach. I've only seen about five of your video's, but Dr. Ken - you are hitting the mark on 5/5.

Thank you soo much this is simply what i can call a true informational and helpful video to watch and not just a compliment but seriously it shows how truthful and honest you are and how much hard work you put in it to make brief and clear !!
So glad that someone with such good common sense on a healthy lifestyle is out spreading the word. I've followed a ketogenic way of eating for over 7 years and have never felt better. I'm 70 years old, 6' @ 185 and my blood work and markers have my doctor baffled. I've told him how I eat and exercise but he still doesn't believe and continually tries to talk me into some sort of a med for something. Hitting on the testosterone and HGH production is key. I've elevated my t level from 585 to 715 and my HGH is that of a 30 year old. My HIIT comes from only resting 30 to 45 seconds with my weight training. I incorporate approx. 20 minutes of steady state cardio 3 or 4 times a week after resistance training also. Bottom line: the Ketogenic lifestyle is the key along with intermittent fasting which I do at least 5 days a week. Thanks again for spreading the good words.
By the way, not sure why my wife's "Donutz59" name pops up. I'm Alan.
I would like to follow your lead my T is so low it doesn't read how can I get it to rise thanks
do you supplement with testosterone on hormones, or all natural? thanks...
Alan, are you strict keto? And how long do you fast? Thanks
@Donutz59 Sir, are you still doing well?
Hi Dr. Ken - thank you for an extremely insightful and informative video. I picked up some key points - particularly the ones on chronic bad stress, and drinking from plastics. Thanks for putting this out there. Ivan M. Paton

i went from msm lowfat high carb diet to keto and changing all cleaning products and toiletries to organic and raised my testosterone 400%
Hi could you list which cleaning products and toiletries you use? It would mean a lot!
@@ebola5632 its more about what i dont use period. i no longer use deoderant of any kind 95% of the year. i dont use dryer sheets or any smelly products. i use only organic soaps or homemade soaps from healthfood stores. when i do use deodorants i opt for a organic crystal thing. right now its jason handwash and bodywash.
just avoid chemicals as much as possible and use organic when you need to use whatever cleaning product.
and remeber this is built upon a mostly organic grassfed , garden fed diet. as little processed food as possilble

I can't thank you enough for your great videos and lifesaving advice! I'm in the process of changing my diet and whole health approach. Your help is vital in this effort.
I have been been on the diet since November 9 and have lost 22 pounds. I cheated twice and my body hated it. I am having great success watching your videos as motivation. Glad I've found this vid. Glad to know I'm doing the right thing to raise my testosterone level. Been doing intermittent fasting. Some of my gym mates thought I'm on gear because i gain some high amount of muscles in just a month.
Thank you Dr Berry. I am finding all your videos very useful!

This is great advice that does not come at the end of a long-winded video trying to sell something.
I so much appreciate your direct approach to men's health.

I bought your book. "Lies My Doctor Told Me" It's great!
I have been hearing about the plastics for a while now. Hearing it from you and another Dr. has sunk in finally. Thanks.
For years as a rule of thumb I don’t drink from hot plastic because if you can smell and taste it then your consuming it which can’t be good.
BLOWS MY MIND SEEING A STYROFOAM CONTAINER MICROWAVED! I learned out this in 1992 on Oprah.
Solid advice, I’m a vegan and I have good test levels. At 43 I’m now in the decline but I lift regularly and am pro intermittent fasting it’s very useful and is a bonus for the natural bodybuilding stage.
Great information Dr. Thank you
My muscle density is getting better with the injection, and it helping my bipolar disorder also. I was finding it hard to get up off the couch. I'm a big fan since my T counts going back up. By far , best video I’ve watched on this topic
Great information, thank-you Dr. Berry!
This is cool! Whole sequence of healthy life is connected to testosterone. What to eat, when to eat, how to live, even to not affect environment.
I would add couple more:
1. Good long quality sleep
2. Resistance training.
3. Mindset. The way you think can change amounts of testosterone couple of times.
Great video!

Timeless information, thanks for the tips
Thanks for all the information your very helpful. One topic you talk about is why is keto good for crohns disease.
Carl Heller ketosys??? seriously?? do you have any research source???
Christian, it makes sense as it's an inflammatory disease. I have been on and off "carbs" for over a decade or at least before I ever heard of keto. Inflammation/bloating always subsides. I have also gotten rid of my cholitice (sp). So I would say YES it could help tremendously.
Hi Dr. Berry!
Thank you for all your insight, it’s a breath of fresh air to know you as an MD are looking at the body as a whole!
I am wondering if you can talk about women and testosterone levels? After giving birth my hormones have been out of whack, and my testosterone levels are below normal range for a female. Because if that, I am losing my hair.
Not many people know that women also need testosterone so was wondering if you could post a video on that?
Agree!
Thanks for another awesome video man, thank you for doing this.
Thank you Ken! I feel inspired and ready to go after watching this.
I enjoy watching your videos. They are very enlightening. Keep up the good work! More power to you! May God Bless You Always. :)

Thank you! We MEN need to keep our testosterone boosted at all times, at all COSTS!
@01:37 Your testosterone level should be in the upper limit of normal, and be 700, 800, or 900+.
Tips...
1) 02:30 Eat enough fat.
2) 03:34 Reduce sugar, starch, and simple carbohydrates that you eat.
3) 04:03 Decrease stress in your life.
4) 04:56 Exercise using High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT).
5) 06:16 Supplements: Zinc 25-50 mg per day. Magnesium. Vitamin D.
6) 07:14 Intermittent fasting. Fasting for 18 to 20 hours a day, you actually increase both your testosterone, and your human growth hormone (HGH).
7) 07:47 Lose some weight. If you're overweight, that pot belly is going to not only lower your testosterone level, but that adipose tissue inside your belly acts like estrogen basically.
8) 8:16 Avoid Xenoestrogens. Never eat or drink anything hot, or even warm, out of a plastic container. It acts like an estrogen in your body, and high estrogen has the exact same effects as low testosterone.
Is it okay to drink cold out of plastic?
Thanks
Unfortunately, this won’t work for many if not most people. All of these tips help a little, but usually not enough to really make a difference
@@PowersBenzoCoaching What do you recommend then, or what has been your experience?
Exercise, coffee, arts, music but specific pleasurable music
Absolutely great and helpful. Thanks
Thank you for the information. I really enjoyed the video.
Thank you Dr Berry. Something to think about, I work for a distribution center for a major retail company (who is headquarted in TN). I see thousands of cases of bottled water packed into trucks that ship it hundreds of miles. Those semi trailers can be well over 100° in the summer. So your bottled water may have already been heated before you got it.
Yort 29 wow! I have never even thought about that not that I drink a lot of bottled water.
You are 100% right. I'm a trucker and EVERYTHING gets stuffed in a shipping container or semi trailer and left to overheat. No food outlet is excepted from this. Not even the high end expensive ones. Unless its perishable (frozen, dairy, some produce) it's already been overheated. All beverages including sodas and beers get the same treatment
I've heard Aspertain will become a nuro toxin if heated. Think of all those diet drinks sitting in hot containers, some for day's.
What can we do about getting water then if the local municipal water is of such poor quality it isn't worth drinking as in my case? Our water is terrible, we had a massive chemical spill in our only water supply a few years ago. We clean and bathe with it out of necessity but we buy bottled drinking water. Now that's no good? Smh, I sure miss my well water
@@TheWaterman1000 The latest reports coming out is that artificial sweeteners destroy the "good" bacteria in the gut including saccharin
Doctor Berry! When I first noticed my libido waning when I was in my mid 40s, I got very concerned and decided to research this issue and look for organic, homeopathic, naturopathic solutions. As a result of my many years of research, I now supplement with high grade vitamins and minerals and organic herbal tinctures, along with a conscientious schedule of diet and nutrition which includes good fats, organic fruits and veggies, and pasture raised meats and bone broths. I am almost completely off processed foods with the exception of breakfast meats (I just love the ham, bacon, and Spam!), and have greatly minimized my intake of sugar, starch, and simple carbs. I'm on a lite schedule of resistance training and aerobics which is much like the HIIT approach, but I know I could be doing much better in this area. I just discovered this video and I must say that this is the best 10 minute summary of what it takes to maximize free testosterone levels. All of what you shared in this video is well in tune with what I've been doing and at the age of 68, my libido is through the roof. This video is a solid confirmation of all that I've been doing. I hope this testimony will help the millions of men out there who are innocent victims of the widespread ED pandemic caused by xenoestrogens. Thank you sir!
Another simple great very informative video thank you once again Dr
Your suggestions make a lot of sense. Very good doctor.
