    1.) Eat enough fat...good fats of course.
    2.) Reduce the amount of sugar you eat.
    3.) Decrease stress.
    4.) HIIT
    5.) Zinc, Magnesium, Vit D
    6.) Intermittent fasting
    7.) Lose weight
    Don't forget about lifting heavy weights. Numerous studies have shown that this is actually the #1 way to increase testosterone in men. Coupled with the above 7 steps AND a proper diet makes a positive outcome practically guaranteed.

      Captain Velveeta ...what about olive oil ???

    • @CaptainVelveeta
      @CaptainVelveeta Před 5 lety +43

      Diet is EXTREMELY important and I'm surprised he didn't mention one thing about it. Olive oil is a great choice to cook with due to its low content of saturated fat and high content of essential unsaturated fats.

      @babarali7746 Před 5 lety +9

      Captain Velveeta ..you said GOOD FAT .....what is good fat ..??

    • @CaptainVelveeta
      @CaptainVelveeta Před 5 lety +41

      Well, the outer membrane of the millions of cells in our body is made up of phospholipid layers (which is a fancy word for fat). So without going into too much detail, monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats are essential for body function and especially important for testosterone production in men. Saturated fat has it's place in this process but a very small place. For men over 40, supplements are very important also...nothing hormonal, only vitamins and minerals that 'support' hormonal function. It's more information than I can reply to here so concentrate on doing some research of your own. Nobody is the same so it'll take some tweeking depending on your age and lifestyle. Clean up your diet, fill in the gaps with supplements and commit to a consistent work-out routine and I promise, you will be happy with the results.

    For decades (basically always) I have been eating bacon, butter and all the so called 'wrong foods'. Been out in the sun much to many people's horror and warnings of dire consequences. I have been diabetic on Insulin almost 40 years. I don't smoke. I am now 70, no one believes I am 70, they think 50. And I don't mean people who flatter to deceive I mean officials that need to know my age. I removed all stress by retiring, and I get exercise by helping on our farm in Thailand in the heat. Slowly the weight came in along with dropping off the gym and not paying attention to my diet. Decided to go Keto-saurus OMAD and THEN found Dr. Berry's extensive vids. My background is in clinical/laboratory medicine so I should have known better but I guess we're all human beans. Now at 67 I feel better, regained my interest in the gym 3-4x a week, getting stuff done around the wife's house, etc. These vids surely do both help and keep me motivated. I'm in the Panhandle also. So glad that someone with such good common sense on a healthy lifestyle is out spreading the word. I've followed a ketogenic way of eating for over 7 years and have never felt better. I'm 70 years old, 6' @ 185 and my blood work and markers have my doctor baffled. I've told him how I eat and exercise but he still doesn't believe and continually tries to talk me into some sort of a med for something. Hitting on the testosterone and HGH production is key. I've elevated my t level from 585 to 715 and my HGH is that of a 30 year old. My HIIT comes from only resting 30 to 45 seconds with my weight training. I incorporate approx. 20 minutes of steady state cardio 3 or 4 times a week after resistance training also. Bottom line: the Ketogenic lifestyle is the key along with intermittent fasting which I do at least 5 days a week. Thanks again for spreading the good words.

      just avoid chemicals as much as possible and use organic when you need to use whatever cleaning product.

    @01:37 Your testosterone level should be in the upper limit of normal, and be 700, 800, or 900+.
    Tips...
    1) 02:30 Eat enough fat.
    2) 03:34 Reduce sugar, starch, and simple carbohydrates that you eat.
    3) 04:03 Decrease stress in your life.
    4) 04:56 Exercise using High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT).
    5) 06:16 Supplements: Zinc 25-50 mg per day. Magnesium. Vitamin D.
    6) 07:14 Intermittent fasting. Fasting for 18 to 20 hours a day, you actually increase both your testosterone, and your human growth hormone (HGH).
    7) 07:47 Lose some weight. If you're overweight, that pot belly is going to not only lower your testosterone level, but that adipose tissue inside your belly acts like estrogen basically.
    8) 8:16 Avoid Xenoestrogens. Never eat or drink anything hot, or even warm, out of a plastic container. It acts like an estrogen in your body, and high estrogen has the exact same effects as low testosterone.

    Thank you Dr Berry. Something to think about, I work for a distribution center for a major retail company (who is headquarted in TN). I see thousands of cases of bottled water packed into trucks that ship it hundreds of miles. Those semi trailers can be well over 100° in the summer. So your bottled water may have already been heated before you got it.

      You are 100% right. I'm a trucker and EVERYTHING gets stuffed in a shipping container or semi trailer and left to overheat. No food outlet is excepted from this. Not even the high end expensive ones. Unless its perishable (frozen,dairy, some produce) it's already been overheated. All beverages including sodas and beers get the same treatment

    Doctor Berry! When I first noticed my libido waning when I was in my mid 40s, I got very concerned and decided to research this issue and look for organic, homeopathic, naturopathic solutions. As a result of my many years of research, I now supplement with high grade vitamins and minerals and organic herbal tinctures, along with a conscientious schedule of diet and nutrition which includes good fats, organic fruits and veggies, and pasture raised meats and bone broths. I am almost completely off processed foods with the exception of breakfast meats (I just love the ham, bacon, and Spam!), and have greatly minimized my intake of sugar, starch, and simple carbs. I'm on a lite schedule of resistance training and aerobics which is much like the HIIT approach, but I know I could be doing much better in this area. I just discovered this video and I must say that this is the best 10 minute summary of what it takes to maximize free testosterone levels. All of what you shared in this video is well in tune with what I've been doing and at the age of 68, my libido is through the roof. This video is a solid confirmation of all that I've been doing. I hope this testimony will help the millions of men out there who are innocent victims of the widespread ED pandemic caused by xenoestrogens. Thank you sir!
