Stand jetzt 2 Monate, war mal wieder dringend nötig dem Motor und Getriebe leben einzuhauchen. - Auta a dopravní prostředky
Danke für 100.000 Aufrufe. Kaum zu glauben, dass so viele Leute sehen wollen wie nen alter Motor startet. Wenn ihr sehen wollt, wie man mit der Lok was zerstört, schaut euch die anderen Videos an 😅.

So einen Nachbarn wünscht man sich. Im Garten ne Bahn und Sonntags um 8 Uhr wird der deutz angeschmissen
Mich würde es nicht stören wohne auf dem Land und habe selber einen alten Traktor in der Scheune und es ist immer wieder schön wenn man den zum Leben erweckt

Fantastic sound, that 1 cylinder Deutz engine. I remember those glow spiral in the old Mercedes diesels too. Nice to have a locomotive and railway tracks in your garden.

It's fascinating how an aircooled engine can be built in such a way that it can be run 24/7 and never overheat!!

Ik heb een paar Deutz diesels zonder deze gloeikaarsen.
Van recentere datum als deze machine.
De twee motoren die ik heb zijn een 3-cilinder en een 4-cilinder, die gebruikt worden om generatoren aan te drijven.
Deze luchtgekoelde motoren zijn ideaal voor stationair werk, zoals compressors, generatoren, waterpompen, enz.
Eenvoudig en onverwoestbaar.
Mijn vader had ooit een vrachtwagen Magirus-Deutz 4 cilinder, bouwjaar 1955, type met bolle snuit.
Slechts 90 pk, vergeleken met wat men nu aan pk's aantreft, een peulschil, maar een heel betrouwbare machine.
Deze had wel gloeikaarsen en goede batterijen (24 volt) was wel een vereiste om de machine op gang te krijgen.
Pittig detail, deze vrachtwagen had geen stuurbekrachtiging.
Het sturen gebeurde dus met spierkracht, wat vooral bij het maneuvreren een hele karwei was.
Iets wat moderne vrachtwagenbestuurders zich nauwelijks kunnen voorstellen.

Not to allow water to enter.
To keep stuff from falling down it, water, I've also heard it's to prevent birds from landing on top of the stack and pooping down into it. Most vertical exhaust pipes I've seen either have a flap like this or angled at the end with the tip cut at an angle so nothing could fall directly down into it.

Why be surprised. It shouldn't be for the fact it's a german built machine. These vehicles are bullet proof and work in the harshest conditions, they cold start easily too

I have a German made John Deere that has been worked hard since the 70’s and still is every day to this day it’s a 4 cylinder diesel
Wir haben noch einen D6006 der allerersten Serie von 1968 mit F4L912 Motor, der ist dafür Direkteinspritzer.
12 PS aus 3 Liter Hubraum ist null Leistung. Ich meine auf den Hubraum das bisschen Leistung da bringt sich der Motor ja nie um. Ich fahr einen Opel Vectra A mit 1.8 Liter 8v Benziner und 90 PS. Den kann ich ohne Probleme bis 3000 Drehen und das nachdem ich grade mal 500 Meter gefahren bin. Alte Motoren sind robust.

Una lastima en argentina son tan caros para reparar, tengo un tractor deutz 50 de finales de los 50's que tenía un F3L514 pero muuuy gastado, sin presión de aceite , bajo de aros y con el block fisurado en 2 lugares, me salió mucho mas barato reparar y adaptar un F4L913 , lo bueno que ahora tiene casi 80 hp , y también son muuy buenos.
@@FabioTitoMontefinale amigo en Cuba los dueños tienen que ingeniarcelas para poder repararlos y rezar para que no se rompan pues no hay casi nada de piezas de repuesto.

Acá se importavan de alemania hasta el año 59 creo, como el mío, y despues se fabricaron acá con la misma calidad, por eso se consigue casi todo.

What purpose does the round object with the seven holes (next to the red light) serve? I've seen this on an old Mercedes school bus that used to take us to school in the mid 70's. Thanks for the lovely video!
That is a glowing indicator. It is in row with the glowing plugs. Behind this round object with the seven holes is a wire. You cant See that in the Video but when the Wire is glowing the glow plugs are glowing and the engine ist ready to start.
Each cylinder on these engines has a glow plug.
In the type my father had, Magirus-Deutz, built in 1955, the four glow plugs (4-cylinder engine) were in series with each other.
Which was a disadvantage if one glow plug was broken, the circuit was broken and none of the plugs still worked.
The cold engine was almost impossible to start without working glow plugs.
While preheating, we put our thumb on the round plate with holes on the dashboard.
This way we could feel whether the pre-heating system was doing its job well, even without seeing the filament glowing.
Mercedes also used this system in the past, so that the engine could still be started even in extremely cold winter weather.
Glow plugs are still used in (some) modern diesels, but the whole system is now automated, say, computer controlled.

That is a control wire. This Wire is in a row with the glow plugs. If the Wire is glowing the plugs are glowing, too.

Die Lok hat ja einiges an Patina angesetzt... Aber der Motor klingt gut.
Ja steht auf dem Plan drauf die Motorhaube abzunehmen, entrosten, lackieren.
Der Motor brauchte 3 Spülungen damit er jetzt vernünftig läuft.
Ist noch einiges dran zu machen, es wird aber besser.
@@germanpower Die GT 124 Motoren meiner Ns1 sind ständig undicht. Eine Kinderkrankheit... Dutzende Quetschdichtungen. Hat man eine dicht, dann "suppt" es daneben...
@@sventhurow2210 oh, das ist nicht schön, mit sowas hatte ich noch nie zutun. Der Motor ist auch nach Jahrzehnten ohne Wartung und Betrieb dicht gewesen. Nur eine Einspritzdüse war undicht, nen neuer Kupferring war die Lösung.
@@germanpower Dagegen ist der Roßlauer Original Einzylinder ( 11er Deutz Nachbau) seit 65 Jahren dicht und unkaputtbar. Doch da es ab Ende der 70er Jahre dafür in der DDR keine Ersatzteile mehr gab, wurde jeder verfügbare Motor auf die Loks gebaut. Meist Junkers Gegenkolben, Rs 09 (Zweizylinder) oder GT 124 ( Vierzylinder). So ist heute fast jede Ns1 oder Ns1b anders...
Very very nice
