I do agree to throw the book, the deck in self is great. This deck is more for evoking then actual tarot (calling upon demons to help you with your divination). The deck is an advance deck, yes it may say what the card correlates to in actual tarot but look at the little blurb at the bottom of the card, because Tarot is like 60% the Diviners sense and then 40% the actual meaning. Like both of these decks blended together are powerful. I hope this helped.

Yes, I’m ignoring the tarot assignments and using it as an oracle with the demons on them.

I love your channel and your variety of videos!! I agree that the deck doesn't make for a good tarot, but because it's a specialty deck. I don't think anyone could fit all the goetic demons/spirits to the meaning of each of the tarot cards. I was surprised that this became a tarot instead of an oracle deck. I think his Celtic Cross spread is interesting in how you read it; it doesn't carry the typical position meaning instead you're to fit it with the demons powers and such. It's a unique Celtic Cross that's directed by the demon you summon as the signifier card. I like the summoning and ritual he offers. I don't think it's too cheesy! Lol. I do think he should have kept quiet about the blood offerings though. I want to try it out, using the summoned spirit from the Occult Tarot card, and a standard tarot deck for the answers. Or, even with a pendulum over the spirit's seal. I think it's a useful deck for ritual, though it would better serve someone who has rudimentary knowledge of the Lesser Key already, since the book doesn't give nearly enough to teach someone the basics of Solomonic magic.
I have The Daemon Tarot you talked about, despite the name it's an oracle deck not a tarot deck. It's okay, but I was really disappointed by the fact that the entire book is written in a "tongue-in-cheek" manner, like it's all a big joke.

I ordered myself the tarot of shadows a few years ago as a birthday present, and that deck seemed very alien and foreign to me. At the time it was the only dark deck I could find. I don't work with spirits when I use oracles and tarot, as I take them as my inner subconscious mind communicating with my conscious one. For instance your brain records everything from your senses but only a few things at a time do you focus on, and reading the cards lets the rest of the data stored in your mind come out- cards are a tool to get it to speak to you as it does when you dream and it speaks to you. The cards and spirits are all symbols that can be used to speak to you, but you need to understand them first as a language. Part of working with new decks and new concepts is the unleashing of hidden knowledge, so perhaps devoting the time and effort to learn these concept the hidden and unnamable parts of oneself will at last be revealed. Some things need a language in order to be expressed. Thank you for your review on these dark decks.

I've made the occult tarot work well for me, but I agree that the book is completely lacking and useless. You kind of have to find your own meaning in the cards and the correlations made in them. For this I would recommend having your own notebook dedicated to the deck and do your research for each card as they come up for you. I feel the exact same way about The other deck Travis McHenry made "Angel tarot". I also am not a huge fan of the cardstock on either of these decks and ended up buying plastic sleeves for them.

Somebody said there were angel restraints on each and every card or angel info on each card and I was wondering where are they on the card and how do I blacken the angel info out?
