Had a old rasta man in my old village of cocorite who use to make steel pan he would beat and tune steel pan all day it was so annoying but when he got finished with a pan and play it it was the sweetest sound the people who invented the steel pan was amazing for creating such an instrument an adding to our culture
Why this didn't win 1st at Panorama is always a mystery to me, just great stuff and arrangement by the master Jit..God he will be missed, hope his son can rise to the better level.

Acknowledged world wide as perhaps one of the best arrangement on the pan, but for whatever reason the judges that night did not hear it. To show my balance I thought Fonclaire had done enough to edge out Renegades in another Panorama final.
It's time to HAND OUT a PANORAMA TROPHY ,and it should be named the DR Jit Samaroo Trophy.
