People tripping out for nothing rn. This guy is a Moss kinda guy, gets over the top and catches on you. Marv is technically sound and the most natural route runner with the best release and he has two insane back to back seasons and he's also big but for his size he has really short arms(kind of takes away from his size and catch radius, he can obviously still get up there and nab the ball). Marvs tape doesn't show a 4.3 / 4.4 guy, he skipped every drill and there's a reason for that. BTJ lead the NCAA in Rec TDs, ran a 4.33, almost has 33 inch arms and almost 10 inch hands too. I think Marv is the safest of all receivers, he's got a big name and he's good at everything while being the most technical Route Runner but BTJ and Nabers have higher potential for sure.
In hs, he was a 4.6 with a 30 inch vertical.
I like BTJ's ceiling but idk if his fly routes gonna fly in the NFL. But he has monster potential
Brian Thomas Jr is a stud. More explosive/bigger/dynamic than everyone in the draft

His bench press is 19 and needs to get the reps up? Lineman aren’t even doing that number!
He had 11 reps on the bench. That was in the 19th percentile among WRs (as in 81% of WRs did more reps than him). They just read it wrong in the video.
@@killerjag GOOD receivers don't need to care about Bench Press...that's not his game. If his existing set of physical tools - which are amazing - don't get it done for him....then a few more reps on the bench ain't gonna be a difference maker. NFL experience and good coaching PLUS just physically maturing from 21 to 25-28 is all this dude needs.

So did Buster Davis #2 at LSU. Where do I start, the size, the look. Davis was a 6'2", 4.1 40m looked just like Tarzan and played like Jane.
lol Buster Davis was 6-1, ran a 4.46 at the combine, and had dips in production. BTJ is a totally different breed… he led the country in receiving touchdowns!

I think BTJ has a high ceiling but tbh so much of his production came on fly routes and YAC
The problem is Thomas can only run 3 routes right now. And he’s not a good YAC guy, at least the physical aspect. He goes down really easy.
MHJ is so much more complete…can run every route. Good speed, def not elite. And great in tight windows, great separator.
My top landing spots for Thomas Jr who could be a late first to late second:
Seahawks. Bengals. Commanders
Panthers. Broncos. Lions
Bills. Period.

Thomas at #2 is criminal. Media heads have no idea what they looking at. He’s not even top 5 😂. He’s an awful route runner, he’s so bad at making any type of cut.
IMO, he wasn't asked to do that at LSU when Nabers was there. Thomas was the home run and jump ball threat on the team. He's like a more competitive version of Quentin Johnson with some hints of Randy Moss.
@@Portuducks I watched his film and saw him try to do it and he doesn’t. He has great physical attributes but to be good in the nfl he’s gonna need to be at least average with his routes and cuts. He has a great release and speed but he’s gonna need time to develop if he’s gonna be as good as sims is saying. I’d rather have lad or Adonai honestly.
