She's a better woman than me because my husband's abuse made me end up in intensive care and the secure pysch ward. In a way it saved my ass because the clinicians and medical staff were asking questions about why I self-harmed and it all led back to my husband. Once I learnt some DBT skills of mindfulness, distress tolerance and interpersonal effectiveness my mental breakdowns became less but his abuse had to become more extreme to be effective. I've been in therapy for years trying to get better and this dude is like I'm ok. I'm cured. I worked it out in a matter of months. Creepy and a big fat lie for a sex addict and an abuse perpetrator cause that's what he is in addition to all the narc traits.

She's a better woman than me because my husband's abuse made me end up in intensive care and the secure pysch ward. In a way it saved my ass because the clinicians and medical staff were asking questions about why I self-harmed and it all led back to my husband. Once I learnt some DBT skills of mindfulness, distress tolerance and interpersonal effectiveness my mental breakdowns became less but his abuse had to become more extreme to be effective. I've been in therapy for years trying to get better and this dude is like I'm ok. I'm cured. I worked it out in a matter of months. Creepy and a big fat lie for a sex addict and an abuse perpetrator cause that's what he is in addition to all the narc traits.
