The full 2019 Murren Inferno course, by an unfit first-timer, including a couple of tumbles! For a shorter edit with backstory see here: • Inferno Murren 2019 Sk...
Yes I learnt that - Holding a tuck for 3mins+ on that first traverse is tough and I was concerned about using too much energy in the first segment when there was still another 15-20 mins to go. Next time I will be fitter!
I did this on rental skis. Fine for a first timer although a bit of a wild ride on the fast bits. When I tried again in 2022 I used a pair of 195 GS - more stable overall but I still managed to fall (on one of the easy bits too! Vid of that run here czcams.com/video/W1Xd36bIY-4/video.html
@@TheRealBlackadder you likely caught an inside edge, happens to me all the time on my gs skis lol. Ive bent more ski poles in the last ten years then I care to remember. Back to my original question: can ppl run any skis they want or like SL or GS, or do they have to run on a larger radius DH or SG ski?

my legs hurt. well done!
Thanks. Great video of the course.
Getting into a solid and low tuck is tiring but pretty essential to get past the flat sections...

@@ExSheriffFattyBoySkinnyArms you can run whatever you want - I wouldn't dare going below 190 GS
for me a bad video what with the little window left side, that is completely unnecessary
