      They destroyed the cargo loading with those rear Captain's chairs and hump. And getting rid of the rear sliding window was a huge mistake! It's one of THE reasons we just bought a new 4Runner.

    The Capstone having an air ride, HUD, very luxurious leather, and Power running boards make it better for me. The black accents on the Pro to me look way nicer. Disappointed the TRD Pro doesn’t offer the other options for an upgrade fee. Hate to say it, but I’d want the capstone, then would pay to have everything chrome deleted. Chrome, ugh

Capstone kills it, the running boards, HUD, Rims, and Pano did it for me. just delete the Chrome, and it would kinda sorta be nice to maybe get That Toyota Raptor style grill on the Capstone (Just a thought, makes it look super badass with tht grill)

  • @MIZUNOMP60

    I'm not loving the cargo system with the different floor levels. The tray system might be useful in some situations but the higher third row floor eats into a low full cabin floor for cargo haul. The center console looks very "plasticky" for any price point let alone 60k and up. Why no full time AWD/4WD option? The exterior styling is tough and capable looking especially in the TRD PRO trim.

  • @mode1realestatellcmichelle676

    I was ready to order one sight unseen until really paying attention to the details. I have a 2018 and had a 2012 sequoia. I’m ever faithful but I’d be lying if I didn’t say I have concerns over electric hybrid issues. And what happened to the 3rd row tundra platform where the seats were not on the wheel well? I need that entire space to go flat for max storage potential. Has the sequoia gotten prettier only to sacrifice its utility? If I wanted pretty I wouldn’t have purchased a 2nd one and went for an Armada or an Escalade. I need a luxury bad ass utility truck made for a mom with a business. I need Capstone luxury, TRD sport, and old school Toyota quality and function. If they can’t deliver, I will wait until they figure it out. And solar orange is the absolute most amazing thing ever…. What a fail to only make it available on the TRD.

      Might be better off with a minivan, not very cool but for the most interior space and cargo capacity you can’t beat a minivan. AWD Sienna gets 35 combined, I’m tempted to sacrifice the cool factor of a big SUV for practically.

    @TOM-rj4fc Před 2 lety +3

    The lost cargo is a deal killer, you lose almost a foot of floor height compared to other large SUV's. They almost knocked it out of the park, but a huge SUV that has the same cargo area as a mid-sized SUV is only good for people that never haul gear. Even then you better not put anyone taller than 5-8' in the rear. Once again Toyota proves they won't add the luxury features in the TRD pro trim, no pano-roof, no HUD, etc. Meanwhile GM, Ford, Ram, Jeep all putting top end features into their off road trims. The other interesting question will be if the 4runner gets a new design this year, what does it end up being......is it going to be another low-tech, underpowered unit like the 2022, and if not how much will the price jack up, because the Sequoia TRD PRo is only about $12k more than the current 4runner TRD Pro.

    Looking good Jeff 👍🇺🇸🙏😎

    They totally screwed up that rear cargo space. I’ve owned 3 Sequoia’s now and I have a daughter in a wheelchair. I’m not dealing with the ‘hump’ as he describes it. I have enough challenges loading that thing daily.

    Looks like a 4runner with a little more room in the 3rd row and still no room behind it. I thought full size suvs were for large families?? Where do the groceries go when you have all the kids with you? Forget road trips or family vacations. Camping? I guess I'm stuck with gm or ford even though I am a honda and toyota loyalist. Thanks? What a disappointment.

    Other than the obnoxiously large SEQUOIA on the back tailgate that is the best looking full size SUV as of today in my view, just ditch that massive badge in back, please.

    Very uncomfortable that the rear seats can not be folded flat to the floor. This is a huge downside to this model.

    I'm sure it's a great SUV. But, who in their right mind, unless you're in the top 5% of earners, is going to spend what is likely a price tag north of $55k on this thing? My '15 Toyota Tundra has 55k miles, my Wife's Honda Pilot has 95k miles, and we plan on driving both for as long as possible. The days of new cars may be over ... do you buy a new car or eat?
