How much does a house cost in Victoria BC? Home Prices Victoria BC Part 1
The Victoria BC Real Estate Market is continuing to evolve in 2022. Low rates and low inventory fuelled a tremendous amount of pressure on prices in Victoria BC Housing that accelerated dramatically since the beginning of the covid-19 pandemic. Mortgage rates have reversed course quickly since March and as a BC Realtor I can see that sentiment has shifted as well. Nevertheless, I wanted to bring you up to speed at where prices have come to in neighbourhoods like: South Oak Bay, Fairfield, James Bay, Saxe Point, Vic West, Broadmead, Cordova Bay, Gordon Head, Royal Oak, West Saanich, Prospect Lake, and more. Even if house prices in Victoria BC see some declines in 2022 from here, Vancouver Island Real Estate is generally more insulated than other parts of Canada in bear markets.
