It's hard to believe that a man with his energy has gone to the Heavens, but like he said, he's paid his dues and it was time for him to rest easy and I hope that is how it is for Freddie!! God knows, we of that Era will never forget what he has done for all of us. We love you Freddie and miss you like crazy. Rest In Rock and Love Heaven!! We Still Love YOU!!
Absolutely!! I was 8 yrs old , I watched this with my family when it happened. We were very excited to see this, the only band I really enjoyed seeing really , I was young but I did like QUEEN back then.
I just want to say queen Freddie mercury he’s a legend I love Freddie and the rest of the group I listen to him every day especially when I go to bed oh how I miss Freddie my favorite I just couldn’t big one I love all of them especially love of my life I miss him a lot we are the same age God bless ready and the rest of the group and God bless all good night everyone God bless🥰😇🔐😅🤩😎

Funny that I can count 4 Queen songs in commercials in 2019 - Songs that were not even in Bohemian Rhapsody. People just don't realize how much that band touched us and still does.
I had the TV on Live Aid all day that day, kind of half listening to it as I went about my day and when Queen came on I just stopped and could not take my eyes off of Freddie Mercury. His performance was mesmerizing he pulled you in and made you a part of it and you felt like you were there, not just watching it on Tv. and to this day I could not tell you who played after Queen, but I will never forget Queen and Freddie's performance
Ahh Freddy how I miss you and your tremendous talent ..sadly never again in my lifetime will I see such a gifted voice and performer....thanks Queen for the memories.
Really, the adoring fans overwhelm me, I've never seen such an immense crowd being commanded by Freddie and singing with him..the QUEEN indeed ruled the world of rock . Freddie Mercury is indeed a LEGEND, a flambouyant performer, a total entertainer, and a charismstic rock star of the 20th century..who could ever forget QUEEN's FREDDIE MERCURY..?
I miss him even though he has been gone 27 years. He left a hole in all our hearts. He is as current as in the 80s.i am so sad when I see him singing on stage, his talent, charm, uniqueness. Irreplaceable! Miss you Freddie. Hope you keep on writing and singing songs wherever you are.
I hear people inside say the other singers were chatting with each other and they all stopped when Freddie started singing and that you could hear a pin drop. :-)
I've watched and listened to this too many times but it gets better and better all the time because it took me back to my awesome teenage years when this was happening, the 80s, the best decade of rock and pop music. So many things that happened in that decade were so memorable in stuck in your head forever and you are only left to wish you can wind back the clock and go through it once again.
It is no matter to me how many times I listened to such a beautiful song. I never get bored by listening to it. Every body should judge me how much I enjoy this song on CZcams. Ratan Malik from Calcutta, India.
I watched it live and Bowie did a brilliant job of feeding off of the energy that Freddie and Company created. He also transitioned beautifully from Queen to the rest of the show, so the rest of them weren't such a jarring letdown. Elton John following Queen would have had the worst show of his life. Following Bowie, he was fantastic.
Thankgod mobile phones with camera's was just a pipe dream back then.. All live music is spoilt by folk 2 busy filming and not enjoying themselves now a days.. Go Freddie and Queen.!! Xx
Drew Young....Queen will rock forever. They were ahead of their time....WHEN WE NEEDED THEM. I'LL BE 68 IN A FEW WEEKS AND I STILL LIVE TO ROCK OUT!! MUSIC MAKES THE WORLD GO AROUND FOR ME!! How can any band, singer, group compare to this?. Never never in a lifetime! Queen will forever reign in history as the BEST the absolute BEST...RIP Freddie..you were gone way to soon and we love you 💜💜💜👍
Freddy you are truly an amazing singer and performer of all times..you shared your amazing talent together with your band Queen...your music will live forever
In my personal top ten, queen has the first 3 and the last 2. Bohemian rhapsody is the best music ever, performed from the best entertainer ever. Freddie Mercury is immortal.
I can't be happy visualising Freddie resting. May he be at blessed peace in his new world, bathed in an aura of loving thoughts surrounded with good company . . . no loneliness.
They say when he walked back stage, Elton John said "you bastard, you stole the whole show". Elton lived Freddie and tried to visit him often. He left Freddie's house an hour before he died.
Deborah Robertson they where very close friends so sad he was a icon I went really that day for Elton as I adore him but Elton was right that Freddie stole that day totally !!!!!!!💕
Seeing Jim Hutton there, I often wonder how much of Freddie's performance was for Jim! It must have been weird for Jim, he sees this macho, powerhouse of talent on stage...but also knows the soft, shy and gentle man Freddie really was!
The day Queen ruled the world? What about the decade Queen ruled the world? Just because it is not on video doesn't mean it didn't happen. Before MTV there was radio, Queen was always on the radio. Queen and Freddie Mercury a truly amazing group, but one thing they weren't was American, a very British group in a very British stadium and I was there, the atmosphere in there was incredible, you would have thought everyone was a Queen fan and obviously that was not the case.
And the big moment was "supposed to be" that Led Zeppelin was getting back together to do the gig, and Ozzy with going to perform again with Black Sabbath. NOPE!!! Those guys were so disappointing. Queen had me at hello so to speak. They truly were the best band that day. I treasure watching it when it live. Even donated.
No matter how many times I watch this it never gets old. Legend. ✌️

Some people were born to be great legends in modern music....then Freddie came along with the rest of the Queen members......and raised the bar!!
He makes it look effortless despite singing with a throat infection on that day.
Freddie was the best frontman ever. There will never be another like him.😢
I can watch this over and over and over again...love Freddie and Queen!

Right along with most the rest of their songs.
Queen with the King Freddie stole the show & rocked the world that day....What a show.....AWESOME!!!
Good wine, devoted prayers, unconditional love, and Freddie's voice is getting greater as years are passing
It was the best for me I was only 13 when I saw him on live aid the best show man ever
Freddie was most triumphant that day!

it was david bowie who actually did a great performance. then it was the who. elton john w/ george michael and kiki dee, and paul mccartney.
Anna Jackson QUEEN IS LEGEND. ABSOLUTELY THE BEST. LOVE FROM 🇨🇦 WE HAIL TO THE LEGEND
Even Bono said that he was happy U2 did not have to go on stage after Queen
I wish they would have done Under Pressure with David.
If anyone had to go on after Freddie, Bowie was the right choice, still, those pipes are one of a kind.

Noelia Jaime no surprise it was awesome !!!
