I can't believe I missed this... and haven't heard of this band! It's like Carpathian Forest and Bile threw together some of their best aspects and Barathrum happened. Thanks for turning me on to these guys!

Barathrum is a very good band. More than 13 years I listen to their music. I think that "Terrorama", "Grand Belial's Key", "Countess" and "Barathrum" as like a beer from the same barrel. Thanks a lot.

This propaganda is directed not so much against Norway, as against those principles that spread like infection around the world, giving an example of successful careerism - a safe parasitism on the present day reality. Norway is already writhing in a last breath, trying to extrude a "super - evil" from itself.Finishing the sweet pie and choking from saliva and snot, Norwegian bands try to seem "the top of the top": evil, cold and intolerant. Now it is clear that arsons of the churches and other actions were only a spoiling of teenagers, a commercial trick, but in no way a War. If you oppose a today's society why do you cry about it all over the world ? A man can't exist making what he does public; he worries about a Monument for himself still while he is alive, and all these actions were necessary just to build this Monument. Or may be the albums of Norwegian bands had really improved Norways economy ? Now big show business had taken root in the underground, but naturally it is a small copy. Access to all has almost removed the principles of Pride and Honesty, which try to develop in the underground. Today a rare exhibition of these principles is accepted as a Feat, though it must be "round - o clock" naturalness. Art has grown into the sport, into the work presenting the reviewing with using of estimations. Interviews become a chance to advertise somebody's work here and now. And thats why the degenerative epoch of standart mentality is marching on. All ideology comes down into the consumption of Music. Music seems to be a barricade dividing the opponents and supporter of using keyboards in Black Metal. There will always be bands which want to be the leaders in their camp and wich will never miss a chance to show themselves as "the best of the best". That's why the competition is still going on, bands hurry to produce their half - finished products and call this Art. It has already become a stereotype that certain Music is made for certain listeners. And musicians themselves are developing this kind of thinking without doupting it in the least. They started talking about "music for elite". A sort of tablet for the "right" humans, for maintenance of their healthy tone. "Elite" listeners will swallow this music tablet just to support their status of "constantly developing personalities". But this is not Feat, this is not the case when to keep is harder than to get/achieve.And may it be a great Power for certain Music to wake up someone from the "gray mass" , someone who doesn't deserve the "elite music" ? And generally human dependence gives no rest to these very people. They want their music to be appreciated, and surely by the "best minds". As if from it the price grows - in their own eyes and in public opinion. You may not always ruin the old only because you have a "new creative solution". You can destroy the "old" and to dream about the "new" on the ruins, the main condition that nothing prevent to dream. History can't be turned back, even if the Wheel turns. History can only be remembered.
