Hi Gab, not sure if someone mentioned this already but in the settings under gameplay there is a feature which lets you pause the game when you are in your inventory. So you can read notes you picked up in peace 🙂
or just read the notes back in the garage
I LOVE when both Gab and Sean play the same games. It always cracks me up to see the differences. I get the story line from her and the total chaos from him... lol Anyways, hopefully they both continue playing this one.

I got worried near the end of the first mission, because Gab dropped the transmitter and didn't seem to notice when they activated the gateway then started driving towards the beam of light.
But, it seemed like the game gave them the transmitter again anyways.
Also, in the SLIM chance that Gab sees this and didn't figure it out since I paused. I remember in the car repair tutorial that you can charge the car's battery simply by pulling a lever at the desk with all the sparks on it. Something like that.
I was losing my mind 😭😭😭

I’m in the comments to report how obsessed I’ve become with - especially - Ghost on the Road by A Shell in the Pit from the intro drive.
When Gab was immediately stopped in her tire tracks by the song and gave it time instead of turning it down, she also gave me just enough to go look it up since it’s not part of the main game’s background soundtrack. The track just sinks deeper in the more I listen - I’m so haunted by this ghost. ❤
Wow this game is set where I grew up -- my grandpa used to drive me all over the Olympic peninsula (even during the same year the game is set) and we'd find little adventures to have. Or we'd drive to Mt Rainier. Lots of cool history around those parts like some army forts and different spots where native Americans (and eventually American settlers) lived. It's a beautiful area of the US ❤ I know it's meant to be a spooky game but it really just made me nostalgic for the times I could doze off with my grandpa safely driving me around through all the huge trees and gorgeous scenery.

Watched Sean's playthrough too. He misses details to the game, but I love his energy. Gab is chill and more thorough (like me, I'd be analyzing anything and everything to gather sweet, sweet lore). I'm glad Gab noticed the car burns through gas when it's running. Three hours of watching Sean and he's just left his car perpetually on and keeps wondering why his gas runs low. I'm wondering how long until Sean figures that out, haha. Love the series, love the pacific northwest vibes, can't wait to watch more!

Oh thank goodness. Sean's playthrough was driving me crazy to the point where I had to give up on it about half way through. It's so nice to watch Gab, whose play style much more closely matches my own

Watching you leave the essential scrapper at the garage and then crafting one later hurt my chest. I loved every other part of this though and enjoy your playstyle very much!!! The story line is giving dystopia and Im excited to be on a journey through such a beautiful landscape!
Just a quick word from similar folks:
- There's a charger in the garage literally right next to the car (im guessing you found it already)
- Yes, any panel or door will work with any relevant part of the car. Yes, a side door will work on the trunk lid.
- SCRAP EVERYTHING YOU CAN. Every bit counts.

Reveling in this. I'm on the Olympic Peninsula, and it's so delightful to watch a game set in my vague location XD I almost wish it was map-accurate so I could spot locations and say "I've been there!" but I think the anomalies must have moved everything around!

I think when I watched other people play this, they didn't turn on the radio. The music adds so much to the atmosphere.
The explanation for the Remnants is such an interesting concept! I really like it. It’s a fun in-game reason for you to never abandon the car and hoof it on foot. You’re bound to your object, there’s no leaving it behind.
The most recent run of uploaded games has me so energized! I've been loving Pacific Drive and Banished and have been itching to watch them as soon as they upload. Thanks for the content!
Oh, this game is awesome (and super pretty), I so hope Gab will play more of it!😍Not only is "driving survival" a twist on the survival genre I didn't know I needed, but the way the devs added a supernatural twist is so good too, like that whole Remnants thing? Coolness off the charts. I'm super intrigued by the bits of lore in this video. (I'm wondering if the Instability also affected the NPCs we keep hearing but not seeing?? 👀) I really hope the rest of the game delivers on this strong beginning. Here's hoping Gab will show us the full game so we can find out. 🤞

Jack has always been my sons favourite steamer since he was little, and I discovered Gab when Elden Ring came out. Now we both watch them together.

Sean is like me, ADHD impulsive play style. Gab is very focused and detailed orientated.
I love that the voices (Oppy, Tobias, Francis) are audibly older people which leads credence to the fact they are experts in whatever is happening in the zone. (They do offhandedly mention they lived for decades)

I can't wait to play this when i get off work tonight. I seen so many people play it now in early couple missions and curious how game opens up later since no one has gotten that far yet. Even if game ends up shorter then I hope i think it's a very cool and worthwhile game to play, so many things about this game is done so well!

I love how Gab took awhile to realize the car was on and that's why it was using up gasoline, hahaha....I was like 'Gab, the car is on, you gotta turn it off'...hahahah...Love this game😄

A tip for the zappy towers - you can avoids the lightning when walking if you just strafe left or right since they go in a straight line… also there are lead plates and LED lights you can scan/harvest. It’s a rad game, thanks for uploading!

It’s crazy how different their play styles are. Sean picks up things so much more intuitively while Gab pays attention to how the game is supposed to be played. It makes it fun to watch both playthroughs.
This is so cool! I love the music/sounds/voices and the gameplay is such a nice mix of crafting, exploration, and enemy evasion. I hope there's eventually a more consistent way to fend off the Abductors, but nice job using one of the towers to zap that one!

parts of this game reminds me of Gearhead Garage. but in that you were a mechanic fixing up cars for customers and buying used cars, fixing them up and reselling them. this game kinda has a bit of that with a full adventure setting added in too
wonder if we'll get to see sasquatch or any other cryptids, that'd be pretty cool
