- Today we go on a mission we have been planning for months, we head to an island in the middle of a loch in Scotland which is home to a creature more at home on the other side of the world. The island is said to be home to around 60 wallabies. With news that that number may be reduced now to just 6, this is our last chance to see these amazing creatures. We attempt to find the last remaining wild wallabies in Scotland.

I never thought I'd be describing a Hell On Earth video as "wholesome", but here I am. This was so much fun to watch. Totally shared in your joy to finally see them too. An unexpected, but most enjoyable change. Nice one, lads!
Definitely the most wholesome vid they ever made, I think they have found there true calling. I had the biggest smile on my face the whole way through seeing how happy they are. Should have been a weekend camping trip tbh
@@you-know-who. Totally agree. They need to go on Safari or something, I reckon.
These guys are getting better and better, the editing is great.
Funniest thing on here
As an Aussie, I never expected to see wallabies on your show, let alone in Scotland!
There's also a local population of BA XR6 Falcon's nesting on another nearby island
Wolfs - Bison - And a lot more NOBODY knows about . . . .
@@jaybazza248 😆
Same Aussie not expected
Wallabies live wild on Lambay Island ( an Island of the Republic of Ireland) just off the coast very near the Capital city of Dublin.
An Aussie here. This is way cool! Wallabies generally rest in the 'heat' of the day, which probably isn't a thing in Scotland. But then, if they're acclimatised, they may well be resting.
Other Aussie here, wallabies live happily in Tassie, they're fine in Scotland.
They must be bloody exhausted then being in Scotland.
@@clamstermcwinkle2514 Bwahahaha!!!!
NORTON: Wallabies : "do they fly away at night?" this line added at least 20 years of laughter years to my life
Thanks for always giving this 60 year old lady in the USA a smile. Your Christmas gifts special had me literally dying laughing. I really love this episode.
I'm a 50yr old grandma in UK and at the time I watched this my 6 Yr old granddaughter was having open heart surgery, a beautiful family has given life even though they have a devastating loss, and I started watching this tearfull, emotionally grateful for the gift of life my granddaughter was resieveing and I never thought anyone would be able to divert the emotions I was going through and as I watched this I found myself more imotional watching and listening to this, my tears were happy tears for these guys that they had me in due to the genuine sincerity and happiness they was all feeling on this explore, to see and hear it all was such a beautiful gift that they really desevered. What you see is what you with Hell On Earth but they can proudly say they found heaven👌🫶👌👍.
Guys this is one of the best videos you've made. Pure adventure and Al being a bit of a knob. Love it.
😂 Al appearing out of the wilderness!!! That was a superb video, I've never heard of this island. I hope the animals are left in peace.
THIS IS NOW MY FAVORITE VIDEO ON CZcams. AND IM NOT EVEN KIDDING. YOU GUYS NAILED IT ON THIS ONE. PLEASE DO MORE LIKE THIS. 🙏🏻
The amount of joy I got from watching two 30 year olds geeking out over wallabies, not how I expected my January 1st to go but I'm fine with that.
I'm from Scotland rumor has it the wallabies have started breeding with wild Haggis to create some sort of hallabie hybrid 😮
Rumour down here is the Scots have bred with the wallabies and the hybrid has given hope that Scotland may have intelligent beings at some point soon.
Hey that was awesome. Living in Australia, originally from England, I felt that same awe as you did when first seeing a kangaroo. It is magical because before I came to Australia they were only ever on tv or in books. Wait until you see a koala up close!! That will blow your mind. You may need to pop over to OZ though. 😂
Wait till ya see ya first Yowie !
@@nicholaswilliams4336 geez I hope not!!
That was just beautiful. Your face's were a picture. It was lovely to see the pure joy. Love you guys ❤
Love this wildlife focused episode. Now you need to go looking for big cats 😂😂😂
The bit when Norton face is zoomed in i love it 🤣
Loved this, it's like three videos in one, with you all seperated and having your own adventure.
Btw, Lambay Island off the coast of Dublin has about 100 Wallabies too, released there in the 50s, and then more released in the 80s from Dublin Zoo after they ended up having too many.
Wallaby video 2: Marsupial Boogaloo, anyone?
Sleep away camp VI: Wallabies Won't be Coming Home...to Australia
Terrible to see people have destroyed the buildings, your right, it doesnt matter where you are, you cant have nice things. This video was really beautiful. ❤
Hey fells as a kiwi who has grown up in Aus watching you guys with my missus getting so worked up over seeing wallabies was absolutely cracking us up love video keep up the good work
Ps wallaby and kangaroo tastes great and there is a species of wallaby that lives in trees
That's amazing. I'm glad your mission was successful. What next, the Peak Districts, Dark Peak Panthers. (Howden moor / Kinder scout) You'd have to split up again, perhaps a half mile apart on the hill tops & cook lamb or beef fat late in the evening to have a chance of attracting one. Wild campers usually only get recordings of the growling, but it'd be champion if you managed to record one on a night vision lens.
you might not usually do stuff like this but it was very cool, would be mint if you do something similar again!
Wallabies in Scotland? I didn't know they travelled so far from Australia 😂😂
Ya can't fake a natural reaction, I always knew you guys were nuts with a genuine love for awesome things ,brilliant entertainment guys, love ya all
I was listening to King Krule from like 11 years ago when I got the notification. Having a sad night personally. I’m happy to see you guys exploring at a new level. I hope to see Al tip over.
And thanks for the hoodie
20:42 that sound came from behind you alright. Was that an excited trump ? That wasn’t a lizard, it was a dwarf Yorkshire crocodile. Brilliant video and I’m glad Al got to be so close to a duck
I live not far from Corton beach in Norfolk, went for a walk there with my pug and took a photo of the beach and bushes on a hill. When I checked the photo's I saw an animal in the bushes, could not for the life of me work out what it was, then someone told me there's Wallabies on Corton beach!! Bloody amazing x
Oh, and another bit of trivia. Wallabies and Kangaroos, as opposed to many ungulates, prune the plant material they eat, as opposed to ripping the entire plant from the ground.
They used to be on Herm island also 👍🏼🇬🇬
OMG what an amazing episode, you guys just keep getting better and better..thanks boys and a big happy new year to all of you 😊 🥰😁
Wow! What an amazing experience. The excitement and awe in your faces and voices was catching. Fab video guys 😊x
You guys have outdone yourselves!!! I have to go drag my dogs around the block...then its coffee and back in bed to watch this.....im fn excited!!
That was beautiful guys.
Kirsty Young: don’t kill off the wallabies.
She says she has no plans to. But campaigners are not convinced.
That was EPIC so please you got to experience that and thank you for taking us with you!! ❤
Pretty cool to see some wallabies there… all of the moss on the island alone, was worth it! Like something out of a book
How has Al never been that close to a duck before?!
Happy new year lads.
Spliff, brew, Hell on earth. Sorted.
"What do you call a small kangaroo that seeks attention all the time"? A wallabie of course!!. That was so sweet really enjoyed it. Happy New Year guys.
🙏 thank you all for taking us along to see the wild wallabys of scotland 💚 fucking magical
We have loads of wild wallabies on the Isle of man! They escaped from the wildlife park many years ago and now quite a few all over the island
That was awesome...good job fellas 😁
We've got wild Wallabies here on the Isle of Man. They escaped the wildlife park in the 60s and there are about a 100 now. That many, they're talking about culling them.
Excellent video guys..
I was waiting for a Mighty Boosh moment when you were closing in on the wallabies 😁👌
one of the best episodes yet. that magical feeling you got while in the presence of those animals is why I go camping by myself all the time here in texas. its an addictive feeling. happy New Years boys, thanks for the content this year
That was awesome to see. Thank you! Love you guys. Always stay safe on your adventures.
Glad you enjoyed your trip up this neck of the woods, I drive past this area every day going to work and only just realised how much I take it for granted. Love the videos guys
Best adventure yet lads... I was literally smiling the whole time, apart from the burnt down house of course, thanks for sharing and Happy New year lads...
👊😎🥃
guys., i had a smile from ear to ear watching and listening to your excitement when you saw a wallaby. Even though we have lots of them here in Australia... (plus the BIG Red Kangaroos and the Grey Roos) I too get just as excited if i spot one out in the wild. They mainly eat grass and some leaves and ferns, so when you spotted them... there were ferns and patches of short grass in that area. They have exceptional hearing, I felt like you was in Australia looking for them. So thrilled you found a few. hope Al got to see one or two as well. I also see lots of small lizards (Gekkos) when im out walking my dog. im excited to also spot those as well, = as its our summer now... not the snakes though. spotted 8 since 1 dec, (1st day of our summer)
They look spooky standing in two legs in this landscape.
Was a top one this guy's. Was like you were hunting big foot or something haha
Nice start to 2023 all the best guys
I'll comment again, sorry. Even though I'm an Aussie, I always get that 'feels' thing happen when I see a roo or a wallaby/wallaroo. They are way cool.
An absolutely amazing, beautiful and heart-warming video guys. I legit got a little emotional at how much joy this magical experience brought you. Love you guys, thanks for making the world a happier place.
That was the best explore you guys have done in a long time. The excitement it caused amongst you was contagious. I want to go see wallabies too. You guys have soul. Scotland is utterly beautiful.
Seing your face light up like a little kids with excitement got you a sub ✨️
Norton as Attenborough..
Lol.. Fantastic video!
How do they survive? Both the Wallys..lol
BY FAR THE BEST YET
Hands down THE best video you've done (IMHO).
Yes, I know there was no building as such to explore, but it was just such a genuine experience from you. Like the wild thornberries. Lol.
Oh guys! I am watching in Brisbane Australia and I am beside myself excited for you! Best adventure ever, and hey, I know they are not meant to be there, but, how very cool that they are there and you have been able to experience this! Thank you for sharing.
Now, if you ever want to see wallabies, pademelons, billies and goanna in their home environment, we got plenty nearby. You are always welcome to stay here. 😍 cheers and Blessings. Jules and Richie
This is 10mims from my house, would have been good to see you guys! Glad you enjoyed the island, a lot of the locals aren't too happy about it being bought over..a lot of idiots used to go on to the island as well and set fires which killed a lot of the wallabies :(
Al is looking more like Peter Sutcliffe each upload !!
As an Australian I am really surprised, and a very cool video lads.
Another awesome one lads, Thanks! strong Jurassic park vibes 🤣
Man, it's impressive they can survive the Scottish winters.
I'm Australian and l.have to say l was own away guys by this video. Seeing Wallabies in Scotland was mind blowing...
Loved this video, this has to be my new fave. Thank you X
Not far from where i live in Kentucky, for a small fee, you can get into a large enclosure with Wallabies, and Kangaroos and pet/ hand feed them, its amazing!
These are wild we can go to any zoo or petting zoo and see then but they are surviving in the wild . Even in the England's peak District there are groups or them.
@@judithkelly2556 Yeah i get that, and that is amazing! everything should be done to maintain the population so that it can thrive. I was just bragging that i had actually be able to pet one lmao.
Aww you're so lucky to have seen them as I've been told numbers have rapidly declined and there may only be less than 10 left. New owner wants them removed and there's a petition online to save them and leave them be rather than relocate.
Anyway I hope you didn't capture any of our wild Haggis to take home for dinner as they're such beautiful little guys and should be left alone, as should the wallabies.
Happy new year lads, look forward to wherever you take us this year xx 😘 ❤️
PS: Are you going to visit the nudist island next door next, I'd love to watch that explore 😀 😄
Fantastic editing and storytelling, perhaps your best video yet. Last week (xmas special) was probably the funniest. Great to see you guys still developing as a channel.
This episode reminds me of Destination Adventure channel vids. Great job lads 👍
Best vid yet . You chase they will run .I would just got close to the ground and chilled a bit they may stayed about abit longer. None the less you all did well kept quiet even mention no littering . Great vid .ATB Max
Wow, Awsom video loved it. I never knew about this island, I really felt your excitment at seeing such an unusual site. You even managed to stay quiet! :)
This film wins the internet ! Love
Thank you so much for this video. I loved seeing your reactions and how excited you were to see them. I think you guys should definitely consider doing more videos like this. Awesome video fellas!
Happy New Years to you as well, from California!!
They'd go lovely with a Vegemite and Fosters marinade.
Next Dogman in Northumberland please 😝. Love the mossy lumps. Happy New Year to you all 👨👦👦x
To be or to Wallabie, that´s the question. Happy new year.
Great video guys. When my kids were small they ran in to the kitchen one evening all excited saying there's wallabies in the garden. It was actually just a bunch of muntjac deer bouncing about panicked by the kids. It was still cool though!
Absolutely brilliant. Happy new year you lot.
This is one of your best videos! What a strange, but beautiful island with cuddly friends
Such an awesome episode lads!! They're so adorbssss! Sad they're dwindling in numbers, so glad you managed to spot a bunch. Wholesome wild wallaby episode times. Definitely worth the trip!!
