Here is something you should try. I have multiple markers with multiple pen tips from fine to chisel all from creative memories back in mid 2000 and they still work. Why and how? Because I did good about making sure the lids are snapped in place and have them in a plastic pen container that has a lid and always, always always store on their side. (Horizontal not vertical like most pen caddy’s). My alcohol markers are also stored horizontally in trays and they are about 6 years old and working fine/ ones that are dried out had lids not completely secured.

When I try infusible ink, it doesn't want to act right. Or maybe it's me. Lol
I get it. You kind of have to get it off the backing just right.
