@@elliot3751 love Simon was actually one of the best "gay" movies I've seen. I was tired of watching movies were the gay contracts an STD, runs away from home or does suicide because of bullying. It showed how an average guy was outed and made the best of his situation and overcame it and came out with the same friends in the end... Plus his parents accepted him which was a huge plus. It was very positive and shined a different light on the young LGBT community and the straight people could watch it and not feel uncomfortable.
I like Love, Simon because it's a romcom and it is the first gay movie that felt good. No HIV, promiscuous sex, and tragic ending. Maybe the book could give it more justice.

Why are people so obsessed with that movie. It was so over-hyped, I thought it would be a cinematic masterpiece and it was possible the most boring gay guy/high school/coming of age movie I've ever seen. I cried when Toothless could fly again, I cry at every Lucas the spider clip even though *hate* spiders but that movie was mediocre at best. What is it about that movie that people love so much because I watched it twice because I thought "this can't be it, I must've missed something"
It's 2019, just having a gay lead role is not enough to make a movie interesting anymore...
The way Ballas looked at Franky walking away. And the necklace that says " Love you Forever" was like a message to Ballas instead. 😥 . I need a fooking sequel! 😱😂
A sequel would be great, as long as B & F are still an item.
Not after he literally abused the F outta Franky. That kind of repression and deflecting could have killed him. Love him, but move on. Be happy and hopefully Franky can be an example to Ballas to get his shit together.

The chain/necklace that says "love you forever" shows up at the very end. Where does it originate? Did Ballas originally give it to Frankie, or the other way around. Frankie leaves it on the bicycle when he returns it to Ballas. Did Frankie give it to Ballas for the first time when he returns the bike?

I really enjoyed the journey of these characters in a modern story, told without being judgemental, respectfully developed and sensitive in many ways ...
Meaningful, Gripping and surprisingly unpredictable. So practical - a realistic movie in the literal sense. Wonderfully acted by Josh Wiggins - Realistic acting in the most true sense. I Could not praise this movie enough.

They end up being friends again at the end but not in a romantic way.
Philip John it wasn't sad. They didn't end up together. But the movie subtly showed that they have feelings for each other. It was more about self acceptance and discovery.

Philip John yeah maybe if there was a sequel, they would end up together. But this movie ended with both boys accepting their sexuality but they're still figuring things out at their own pace.
I saw a trailer for this movie last year and really wanted to watch it, but forgot was it was called and now I just found it again and can't wait to watch it

Surprisingly great movie, didn't expect that...
Just watched this and don't understand why everyone wants a sequel, it ended perfectly. Like, we even got to see how Priscilla was dying inside seeing Franky so happy with Natasha. Part 2 would have no story and would just be unnecesary.

@@julestabler5266 Ballas looks afar from his locker, and later at the flare gun fireworks. It shows he is finally coming to terms of his truth. And Franky finally moving on, and possibly remain in a relationship with Natasha.

Giant Little Ones was honestly one of the most honest and realistic teen films I’ve ever seen. I’d highly recommend it to anyone whose sick of teenagers being glamorized and wants to see something more authentic.

Am I the only one thinking that this movie has a great start and development but then the ending is very confusing? I always thought they would show a lot more, like: how Franky and Natasha's relationship is going to continue, what will happen with Franky's ex, and, most importantly, how Franky and Ballas's friendship will end up. Ending the movie with Franky returning Ballas his bike with that "thing" saying something like "I'll love you forever" or whatever it was, and then shooting the flare gun, which was something related to their friendship, made me confused and kept me wondering if they will be friends again or not. Despite all this, I really enjoyed the movie, I'm just hoping someone has felt the same as me.
He still wanted to be friends but his asshole of a friend kept making him look like the bad guy because his dad was gay.Thats why i think adults should keep their buisness to themselves.It affects their kids.I also wouldnt doubt if his friend wasnt raping his sister.He acted like one big bully

It's actually not that simple -- a lot more nuanced and complex than one might think. It's less about labels and much more about discovering oneself during teenagehood. I would suggest you go watch the rest... the story gets even better and more emotionally-charged as it goes on. It's an awesome film! :D

It's also for pretty much anyone who experienced stress or loss in teenagehood (all of us), feels empathy, and relates to basic human emotions such as sadness, anger and grief.
