It’s already setup for solar now. I just have the panels disconnected right now. Charge controller is on with batteries. Mini split is working great running now as I type.
It is currently running off of the 4 - 6 volt golf cart batteries. It just needs the solar panels connected. The batteries already have an inverter and solar charge controller connected. So to answer your question, it heats much fast running off of batteries/solar. But that is only because the heater/pump unit that came with the hot tub is not very efficient. Where as the propane heater gets much hotter.
@thervsolarseries2827 Mine gets hot and shuts down after around one hour unless I put a fan on it. I contacted the company, and they said it's only made for intermittent duty. 5 minutes on and 10 minutes off. Thanks for your help.
Nice setup.
Thanks for sharing

Nice setup.. Will it be connected to solar.? I just installed one of them Pioneer mini splits to this RV. Is yours broken..?
