- Used Sabiki rig from Jimmy Caivo Bait and Tackle. Bait used was mackerels. Mackerels eat mackerels.

Oh nice you are using the secret dock in Long Beach
There's actually another dock nearby more secret than this one located along the jetty. It's used by float tubers to launch out of. My friends started to launch out of here 14 years ago. I only knew of this place 7 years ago. Now many people know about this area.

Where’s the launch spot
My friend who showed me this spot has asked me not to disclose the spot. So out of respect for him, I cannot show you. But you can launch out of Cabrillo Beach and it would be about the same distance to get to the fishing spot. Expect at least a 45 minutes paddle effort.
