I must say, I am IMPRESSED with the way this boat is engineered. I am not at all a bass fisherman, I only fish saltwater offshore and havent fished in freshwater in over 25 years, but I love this.
This was really Awesome to watch! I'm thinking of Building my own fishing boat with Aluminum. This was so helpful in better understanding the engineering principles involved in boat building a wave diffraction etc. Want to buy a boat but too costly so might make my own. One of the issues that most folk dont consider is the amount of time, thought process & cad design that goes in2 cars, mitor cycles, road & mountain bikes & in this case A Bass Boat. It c Its an enormous investment in time that equates 2 $$$ spent & possibly a few trial boats prior to the Real Deal been shown 4 sale at biat shows. I know a little about boat hull design. And nothing about bass boat hull design. So this presentation was extremely well presented. Some wise 😤😭 suggested 2 bring thecprice down. Guess what u get what u pay 4. If u cant afford it start saving & if u aren't interested in that idea, buy a 2nd hand Tinny. Gr8 look'in Bass Boat. Hope u sell heaps.
Exactly, that was going to be my comment. I see no difference in the hull design on this boat compared to my 2019 24' bay boat, except the bay boat has a wider bow flare with wider casting deck and deeper entry, but it still has only 12" draft. The salt water boats are designed to handle rough conditions. Bad part with this bass boat is, it starts around $10k more with a Mercury 250 than my 24' bay boat with Yamaha 300, hydro jack plate, hard T-top and (2) 12" Garmin chartplotters installed at factory.
So now that you have people sold on tec hull lol are you going to tell them that it’s a mold from 2008 that was never used just modified and renamed.....good hull.Nice looking boat.

Hello, I am making a simple simulation of boat. With the purpose that this simulation can give me best shape of a lower part of a boat in water and that boat has good aerodinamic. So i can make it in real life. Do you have any recomendation about how do i get to this shape without using programming. I am on a schedule, so i would be very happy for answers. Thank you very much!
I think the same but I also think she has been designed and optimized for lakes where usually waves are smaller. Furthermore she is a fishing boat so one doesn't use her so much if the water is rough. And even if you go out with rough water you don't have to run at full gas
Notice the keel stops farther forward than most. Less engine setback is needed to balance it on the pad where its runs most efficient. Many run 14-18 inches of setback brackets that add weight to an already heavy area. Even then this boat has probably 12-14 inch of setback.

There are some fishing tournaments that you could win hundreds of thousands of dollars...if you're fishing one of these tournaments, wouldn't you want to cover more ground faster?

Usually racing boats are built to class specs, not just whatever you want to build.
