Londons burning needs to come back on the telly, with fire driven episodes again... thats what made series 1-10 so good... they got too personal and silly in the last series
They did look amazing. And it's good that they were able to get hold of some of them seeing as those were actually what the LFB were using at the time. But in my opinion, there's no better appliance than a Dennis.
@@scousertom0388 I have an acquaintance that served in LFB during that period. He says that the Volvos were the best appliances all round with the Dennis SS coming a close second. He said the Dodge’s and Shelvokes used in Series 1 and 2 were crap. The shelvokes were originally designed as dustcarts.
@@tigger1662003 Well I myself have heard from a former London fireman on Flickr that the Dodge's were crap, but still, I'm glad to hear such positive things about the Volvo and Dennis appliances.
@frontline88888888 no, they got another dennis appliance, they got the volvos in episode 1 of series 10 after they crashed the 2 appliances at the end of series 9.

Jesus I would not do that job for all the tea in China. My god firefighters are so brave, running into a burning building to save a complete stranger.
i know people didnt like geoff but he was a quality firefighter
Yes, hence he was leading firefighter. Poison otherwise!
He was nosey tho!!
Us at the London Fire Brigade fully supported the production of the series until series 3 when it turned into a burning East Enders.
