You can just run past the clown and trigger the stargazer. Then you can bait him into that area, it is much easier to fight him there.
exactly what I did after dying a few times.. I was like "what's just beyond him though?"

I tried to trigger was stuck in combat but fighting him there was much easier
XD I did the same thing, because I sooo wanted to get into the Opera House.
I love all of the strategies for areas in this game. They also never get easier aside for your knowledge of the game. Every enemy hits like a truck... But you unlock a Stargazer, go backwards from there and clean house.
The opportunities for different playstyles is also really well done.
Lies is a masterpiece in every way
biggest tip i will mention is always have some shotputs on your tool belt. they can also stagger an enemy when the bar is white to let you do a fatal attack on them just by quickly tossing one at them. this goes for every enemy including bosses .
Yeah, it came in clutch especially for defeating the King of Puppets.

glad the tip helped out some people. i am used to my comments getting lost within the rest so i only gave the shotput tip in hopes some people saw it. One other thing that i think would help a lot of people is the Perfect guard Fable art. it might be kinda bland as a fable art, but bland dont mean it is not great. if anybody is using a slower weapon or has a bit harder time with the parrys in the game you can use 1 of the 3 handles that have perfect guard. it will give you almost a full 2 second window of perfect parrys on anybody who is attacking you for only 1 fable art slot . so anytime you see a red attack coming, bam use the fable art and continue your attacks without having to worry about timing as much. there are a couple bosses at the end that have really fast red charge attacks and this fable art can turn you into a brick wall to be able to do follow up attacks. @@plaknas_games
They will interrupt Romeo's mid battle bs never ending fire furry combo as well.

Bro just a recommendation almost every time there is a mini-boss there is either a stargazer or a shortcut close or around the corner you should look for it before fighting them it will save you a lot of time and passion. Love the video man keep it up
There is a stargazer on the other side of the wall pass through the clown to rest on it and then fight him
It's weird bc I get so frustrated watching him not do things right, skipping critical things, not understanding the mechanics, ect. But I also can't stop watching & am entertained on a deeply troubling level. 😂😂😂
Lol yup. It's a little frustrating watching someone rage on a game when they are making poor gameplay decisions and getting themselves in bad situations but it's still entertaining

Watching him not understand that the fable attack on the trident requires you to press the button twice for the full attack actually had me dying at an internal level.
@@mac1bchonestly it's better not to dodge so you can get better at blocking and parrying. If you plan to play new game plus to understand what the puppets are saying you'll want to have a bit of a easier time. I know after I beat this game I'm replaying it bc this game is so much fun.

The one thing I liked about the boss fight was you can sense thier humanity as your fighting them. wether it be them cheering their big bro on or giving us compliments on our skill, then at the end crying over their dead brother.
I love them so much. There’s even a journal mentioning that fighting is their last resort and their priority is keeping their siblings safe. 😭

You can keep a consistent 1v1 throughout the entire fight as long as you position yourself properly; the eldest doesn't get aggressive when another enemy is in the arena if you keep your distance from him, and he only occasionally does easy-to-avoid running attacks. Anyone who thinks they're being ganged up on during that fight isn't using their brain.
Puppet string makes that fight so much easier lol I had a lot of people tell me that fight”s” is insufferable and should watch out for it, I really enjoyed it quite honestly

with that clown mini boss you can just skip him for a second and go to the place behind him and fight him there , there is a open area and save place so you can get your heals and fight him right there without any intruption .

Shot puts can be used to break into a stagger at a range. Aegis sheild helps a lot because you can attack and block at the same time to proc status effects as well as easier perfect guards by tapping L1 while the sheild is deployed. Most mini bosses like mad clown can be avoided by running around him to the star gazer and spawning there before you fight. You can do it bud we got faith in you.
The true power of Aegis is to spam your normal block while holding it down. That will cause every single hit being perfectly guarded. It's so busted that most bosses are just trivialised
@MaidenlessScrub pretty much but you can't do it forever in a boss unless you buy magazines or upgrade legion.
@@shaggnasty609 yeah, but you can save that for the bosses' long combos or fury attacks. Many of them will even have their weapons broken because you just keep on perfect guarding them, resulting in you taking minimal damage even after you run out of magazine. It's busted nonetheless

@@Themuseisbackwhen he does the attack where he pisses fire all over the floor, hide behind one of the metal pipes and it wont hit you. Other than that stay close to him, both parries and dodges will work (except red attacks of course, but most reds you can just sprint to the left or right away from.)

Was stuck on the archbishop's boss for 4 days and watched your last video. Beat him right before they nerfed him lol. Also realized I was just over 60% weight capacity, and dropping it under 60% was a GAME CHANGER
Archbishop wasn’t one of the bosses that got any nerf 👀

To chain parry you continually tap and hold and alot of the enemies are optional you could walk past them, and the clown puppet you could walk past and there's a stargazer behind him for a closer respawn
Don't give up! You can beat this game. I notice your playstyle is pretty aggressive, so it might feel a bit better to use a faster weapon with shorter attack and recovery animations.

Honestly, as someone who beat the game, the game gets harder and harder. This is still easy compared to the last chapter. You really have to think about it if you really want to finish this game. Do what's best for your own sanity lol
agreed i used summons to and the game is pretty fair up until the last 4 bosses thats when things really gets hard especially if hes just gonna not use summons in those later fights
@@chaocrawl He's a little lucky now that the bosses' health was nerfed and it was made a little more tolerable. But when he fights the last boss (not the true last boss after denying "him") I don't think he's gonna enjoy it a lot lol

I ended up switching the interact button with the guard button and it made perfect blocks more consistent. Something about that squishy L1 button... Maybe it's all in my head, but it made the world of difference when fighting the nameless puppet.

Wait until you go through it all again on ng+ the new patch has nerfed the difficulty a bit. But the monsters in ng can 2hit you if you arent careful.

I don't know if you know about souls games but one of the major parts of these games is feeling that dopimane when you finally beat that area or boss you have been stuck on. It sounds dumb when you say it out loud but when you play it's such a great feeling

@@sdotwallace too many enemies are bullet sponges in the later half of the game. When elite mobs are just as tanky as a mini boss, you know that the game has some balancing issues. These guys should be hard in terms of movesets (which they are already), not their health
Stumbled over here because like you, I took a break from the game and came back. Very funny and kind of relieving in a way to see the same level of suffering I have also endured lmao. Love this series Floverse! Easy way to fight the clown puppet is run behind him and up the stairs to your right and get the star gazer there. Then you can pull him in the courtyard behind you and have all your heals and not have to worry about fire!

On the last boss, if you go to the stargazer and get it before the clown does, you can spawn there and fight him with full gear.

You gotta use throwables man. They’re super OP in this game. You could literally beat bosses with just throwables
Quick tip if it’s a red moves you don’t have i frames on your dodge so you either let the whiff it or parry

First souls like for me and I really felt like the game was a frustating but really satisfactory learning process. Perfecting the parry and getting familiar with every aspect of the game. Great experience overall, frustation gets overwhelmed by the fun stuff
Quick tip to make things a bit smoother.. Almost every mini boss has a Stargazer right around the next corner. Like with the Clown Puppet you were fighting in the end, literally right behind him and up the stairs there is a Stargazer.
Grab them first then go back and kill the mini bosses. It will save you so much time running back to the fight
If you use the shockput throwable when the boss is in white flashing state it triggers their stagger.

I just beat this one today! It took me forever because I wanted to 1) Beat with no hud 2) try to beat it without having to fight the others. I was able to only defeat the eldest and youngest, the other two never got a chance which was fun! Good video.
Never had a drift issue with my ds5 controllers before until this game.
Use the NPC summons outside the boss arenas , they are a big part of the game. And use throwable items, they are REALLY powerful; Insanely powerful.
