I will never forget my first time in New York, the street vendor starting playing "No More" and I immediately thought of Adrienne and how ironic it was that I was in NY. I could still cry! Absolutely my favorite moment of the trip.

I think that’s normal. We are so busy actually living the NYC fast life that we dont take the time to enjoy what’s in our city. I got to go to the art museum in NYC because of school when I was younger, I want to get in the habit of enjoying the things in my city

This is super sweet. I often feel alone during the holidays (seasonal depression that literally lasts from my Birthday in Oct to Jan 1st) and I'm really trying to be more open and accepting of people but it's incredibly hard finding genuine people. I'm happy for Lana and Adrienne is so blessed AND such a blessing to others. I live in NYC and don't experience these things. But it was nice to see someone come and really enjoy themselves. So sweet.

I went to New York when I was 13 and of course didn't remember much. Went back 5 months ago at the age of 30 and I agree with everything you guys said! The atmosphere is just amazing and different. It NEVER sleeps!

Going into NYC out of the tunnels is defiantly overwhelming. We started singing "Start Spreading the news... I'm leaving today..." at the top of our lungs last year when we went for the first time and it was very emotional for our whole family. We did it together as a summer family trip when our 18 year flew to France out of JFK for her 1st mission trip. There definitely is a feeling/mood/spirit about it like no other place. My husband and I are going back for a get away later this year. We love NYC!!!!

It amazes how non-NYC Americans are in awe of NYC just as much us overseas people are, I thought NYC was just another city for Americans, but clearly we all have the same buzz about it. I visited New York last year from Australia, and I fell in love, yes the energy is different there and people are actually really nice if you approach them nicely.

Not true! I’m from NYC and all the places they went to were fairly inexpensive/non-touristy. Very local. If you want to experience NYC like a tourist, then yeah you’ll need money.
