The woodwork and cabinetry before was 100000x more charming and cozy.
Erick's designs are always cold and basic
So you mean you dont like white on white on white? Or the same marble pattern for floor/ceiling/walls so you can barely detect the shape of the room?
@@WatcherBob920 I don’t mind white everything ..but when the goal is to make the room cozy, it doesn’t quit work (for me).
@@WatcherBob920 also… French providence & Parisian aesthetic isn’t white on white on white - there’s variations.
@@G2theS same except I hate white. I love golf and black
This space had so much more potential
Funny enough I LOVE the original bathroom !! Update the plumbing and lighting and some features of the tub and it would’ve been such an old world / Ralph Lauren stunner !
Totally agree, there were elements they could have kept that would have added more personality to the remodel
Completely agree!!
Ralph Lauren, hit the nail on the head! I also liked the original bathroom a lot.
The original bathroom could have been very beautiful with some minor updates. But her marble bathroom is gorgeous too.
After looks like an operating room
The old bathroom but with giant palms and plants would’ve been my dream bathroom
Same!
This transformation turned a bland restroom that didn't use its space well into a bland restroom that doesn't use its space well with gold accents.
totally agree
rooms like this were used by the royalty and were this big simply so their servants can fit in there too. sometimes smaller is better. it's hard to create feeling of cosiness with massive rooms like this. I thought the original layering of the tub was smart way to accent the tub, it just needed shape and material update.
im glad i'm not the only person who was thinking this
Thank god I’m not the only one who hates it lol
It's like they'd die if they don't put large amount of marble in that bathroom.
The Chase lounge would have been a great opportunity to add a touch of colour.
Yeah, even if just the darkest grey of the marble. It needed a touch of contrast but you know she’s going to do that when he leaves
Yes. Like dark green velvet or SOMETHING
@@lindaraesmutz4929 I was thinking green velvet as well!!!
It’s like a marble factory show room. And the enclosed bathroom wall not going all the way up aaaaaaahhh
Terrible it has zero character,it’s just white and grey marble lol. I actually loved the old tub. Everything looked better before! Just paint the brown either white or black and just change the chandelier and sink/drawer handles. 😢
Sooooo tacky
wild that they went with so much marble!! it's so delicate and bathroom cleaning products are harsh
Just inviting the funk to fill the whole room 😂😂😂
I think they could’ve extended that lateral wall over to the shower, or at least made like a little hallway, so it looked more intentional.
Loveeee how it turned out except I wouldn’t have used so much of that marble. I feel like it should’ve either been the vanity by itself or both the tub and shower and then a different vanity. It’s too matchy matchy for me but I love the French doors for the shower and the toilet room!
Agreed
Agreed, that marble is beautiful but it’s just too much. It’s an eyesore.
I don't think that is real marble. When she opened the cabinet, that was a tell tale sign. I believe that maybe laminate sheets in a marble pattern. Ain't nothin with it of it is though.
my same thoughts
I like the first bathroom better. I am not a fan of marble. Dropping the tub was a good idea & heated floors are great. The French doors were a good idea.
Yup. They could’ve given it a more cosy look, with some colourful Moroccan tiles and mosaics instead of the marble. She was talking about having her baby take baths there, and it doesn’t look stimulating enough for a child to be in.
I’m not a huge fan of the new one, but that old one was atrocious.
I'm so relieved I wasn't the only one who liked elements of the original bathroom. Tragic that the poop bowl is still next to the bath tub lol
And not totally enclosed. Who wants the stink exposed with a short wall
I wanted to see a BIG chandelier, more space between sinks, more art or something going up the walls, and a better partition for the toilet. It could've just been the glass outlined with gold and going up a little higher. I don't like those shabby chic curtains. He really could've gone all out with texture and pattern, even with her minimalist style. And the chaise could have been fancier. Also, I would've wanted drawer pulls! They could've added a little jewelry type aspect, a little glam, a little shine. It looks like its missing something. I almost liked it better before because I saw more potential with it. And the first chandelier would have been re-purposed in some way because it was pretty. They could've made it a floor lamp and put it behind the chaise and had a moment.
The good news is you can still do this at your house 😏
I think they could've completely enclosed the water closet and added a wall mount fireplace on the opposite side facing the tub. There's just so many things they could have done to spice it up , instead of the bland half glass.
Putting literally 5 of those little “fresh flowers” in a room with about 4 meters high ceiling did absolutely nothing XD
There is a bigger plant. The small one was just for the vanity.
😂
This bathroom is giving me an 80's moment.
Yes ! I thought the same … almost like it could be in Wolf of Wallstreet
I wish they could have kept more elements from the first design. It just seems like a waste of perfectly good materials.
Right?? Who paints over burl??
I know right
They looked awful, come on. Why would you keep that?
The OG floors the chandelier 😩 sad to see them go. She wanted it more modern tho. So let's just hope things were donated 😉
Like they said NOTHING about reselling the perfectly good materials that they removed!
A beautiful vintage atmosphere transformed into a faceless corner of Home Depot. Unless I'm missing something.
The water closet should have been etched glass and floor to ceiling and there should be 2 on either side of the tub. The shower doors weren’t made large enough… the rooms size could have allowed for a sit down make up area with specialized lighting.
Lol well when you redo your bathroom implement all of that but this what she likes/wanted for HER bathroom
she did a refresh. not a gut.
I wanted more warmth in her bathroom. This looks sooo cold but if she loves it that’s what counts.
It sounded like they didn’t want to re-plumb.
Y’all took out that gorgeous huge mirror and gave her an itsy bitsy one and smooshed the dual sinks together. Chile y’all could’ve at least given her a sit down vanity as well with the space you saved.
This is tough because the bathroom is SO big but like awkwardly so. I think he did a good job also considering Adrienne’s own taste but not my vibe. I would have chosen a different tree though lol
I love the idea of French doors into the shower!
There is nothing "French" about those doors. They are just glass showerdoors. No more and no less.
What's the point of partitioning the toilet, if the wall doesn't touch the ceiling?
Yes it looks cheep and awkward
Y’all when you buy a house with your own money, one can do whatever they want with it. It may not be your personal style or mines but if she loves it, that’s all that matters. I didn’t like the before but the after is beautiful for HER. I’m just happy I get to see some interior design.
Bless your heart
Honestly!
I really love how they did French doors on the shower. It really made it seem much more open and bigger. I also like the push open doors. The bathroom is beautiful. 💕
Same!
This space is so sterile and uninviting. It looks a little bit better, but I suppose if this is her taste then you did a good job. I would’ve wanted some darker and more bold colors to juxtapose all of the bright white. Also, a more grand chandelier… maybe even 2 chandeliers. And more trees!!
Totally agree! My thoughts too.
I think it’s ugly it looks smaller now
Totally agree! I’d want some black or some more of indigo vibe to give a more naturalistic nude look. I think she was attempting to have her bathroom look like a hotel. 🙄🙄 The marble is not that easy on the eyes.
I love how Erik emphasizes patience when explaining the process. As a product developer for a small furniture company that specializes in exclusive designs that are made by hand (furniture and lighting) we get push back a lot! It is common for people to expect their order to ship in 2 days, but that’s just not the case for handmade made-to-order pieces. Waiting is so worth though, as Adriana says!
He turned a bathroom that was full of personality and moodiness to a Kardashians bathroom
That's one exaggeration
🤣🤣🤣
Exactly
Wow architectural digest ?! One thing about Adrienne, she finna WORK! NYC hustle through and through because she always seems to😂 find ways to incorporate PR opportunities into all corners of her life, im not complaining though cause her energy just jumps through the screen when she’s comfortably in her element
The whole channel is PR…
Stop it what are you her mother or PR……
Beautiful remodel though I am surprised he didn't add a heated towel rack, which is so common in Europe.
A sit down vanity for makeup would have been a smart addition but in the end... a stunning, positive change.
The bathroom definitely looks better and the marble is stunning. However, the whole ambiance to me is rather sterile and cold. The toilet enclosure looks like an office or medical cubicle and should have been totally enclosed to mitigate smells and sounds. The room was big enough to create a beautiful makeup vanity area near or facing the window. Leaning on the counter to do makeup is a pain and if someone came in to do her makeup for special events they could have had a great space and lighting to work.. Somewhere there needed to be some kind of color to complement all the white in the room whether in the stones or tile. The beige runner in front of the vanity added nothing to the room and was rather dull. The light fixture in the ceiling was rather common when something dramatic could have been stunning. Sorry, Erick missed the mark here and perhaps she dictated a lot of what was done.
I agree. I know they geared to Adrienne's style, but it was too much marble. It over powered the room. It needs more balance and personality.
The whole toilet situation reminded me of the movie The Help.
Agreed!
Tbh she probably has a whole separate dressing room with a vanity already anyways
Good thing this is her bathroom and not yours!
I LOVE the marble, I just feel like there should have been a different color on the floor, to give some more contrast, it's almost too much white, I also LOVE the rug and other pieces!
I actually love the bathroom before! I would be so happy to have that bathroom because it is the size of my living room! I think it feels big because there's not much in there. If I was the designer I'd keep almost everything the same but I would add paintings, plants, some comfy chairs, some towel racks, a rug, pillows, a magazine rack and some bath accessories. I'd also add long sheer curtains for privacy. It's so sad the original was destroyed because I think it's absolutely gorgeous. I really think if you added some cute wallpaper, the furniture I mentioned and some books and maybe a small speaker the place would feel much cosier. IMO what really makes a space cosy is clutter and personal touches.
Also if you want to create privacy for the toilet you could add a fancy folding screen, maybe a vintage one. That way you're not changing the structure but you also have a bit of privacy
Also I know the bath is huge but I would use the steps on the outside for display and storage space. You could add some small plants and also some baskets to keep bathroom supplies
Omigot the old bathroom is so 80,s , as old as donald trump style…
No white towels. My gosh needs some color somewhere
Her hubby must be rich
Before looks beautiful!
Am I the only one who didn't hate that original chandelier?!😅
I just feel like this whole grey and white aesthetic lacks personality. It's so one size fits all. The only reason why it's timeless is because it's an empty lazy design...It's like getting a colouring book and deciding I like it without colouring it in because then it'll just stay a pretty design. We've got to a place we're even our homes are depressing and clinical. I saw a house tour once and the only colour she had in her home was 1 plant on the first floor that was purple. It was a tiny desk plant and hidden in the corner. Everything else was white and shades of beige. Colour can make a home so gorgeous if you know how to do it right, starting to think these designers don't because everyone can make a monochrome room. Literally task a child to do it and it'd be fine.
Good thing you don’t have to live there
@@Rokia2003 What does my opinion have to do with me living there. Weirdo lmfao.
@@HouseOfJolene Your criticism is so pointless. It’s as if she’s gonna see your comment and change her mind. Your complaining about a design that you don’t have to see everyday
@@Rokia2003 Who said I wanted to change her mind? I'm interested in the interior design and have an opinion. You being a pick me isn't going to get you anywhere running to her defence is pathetic. She doesn't know you. Relax.
@@HouseOfJolene First off you’re using that pick me phrase wrong 😂😂 people learn a new phrase and run with it. Just like you have an opinion. So do I. And not that it matters but she does know me💗 byee
Looks great! Bold marbles are definitely having their moment! I like the way he customized the drapery length to accommodate the tub, I will be borrowing that bit of genius...
Instead of blowing your budget with all the marble you could have build a wall in shower with no step, relocate the royaler to an actual room and get a proper counter top
i fear this is going to be outdated real quick - cladding everything in marble is just not timeless!!
And it's not practical for everyone. I don't think of marble as being baby or kid friendly. It's so slick and has hard edges.
But, it is a timeless look. May not be practical for everyone. But marble is pretty much the go to stone of choice for most high end designers!
Marble will never be out of style. Anything that’s natural stone will always look beautiful
outdated lol its not your house so that’s irrelevant. you dont have other things more important and relevant to your life to fear? not everyone loves “updated” or modern homes btw. ppl still obsess over vintage, retro etc homes.
@@neonkuromi whoa chill and also yeah i do think that we should be a bit more conscious about timeless design choices all around bc these things are not exacrly environmentally friendly to replace
Don’t get me wrong it’s gorgeous and I’d love a bathroom like that but it’s devoid of any personality 😕
I get you but i think the personality etc. You have in your living rooms like for me a bathroom must be a very clean area
Left something to be desired 4 sure
Stunning Adrian… the French shower doors and tile are my favorites.
love Erick Garcia!!! please more of this kind of content!
This bathroom is bigger than my whole house.
The accessories really brought this bathroom together and made it feel more welcoming.
I actually like the "BEFORE" more than the after. Personally, I would have kept the cabinets and just painted them white with different handles to offset the white color. But, who knows how bad the cabinets' insides truly were, ya know?
I mean, it is modernized. It is simplistic and "bougie minimalistic" (if that makes sense). I like it for her. I LOVE that they changed the flooring!!! From what we see here, little needed to be done, but again, I like its simplistic and neutral color. Props to her designer.
There are incredible high windows in this bathroom! I really love the whole vanity being wrapped in all marble with built in sinks.
This house is really incredible find…I watched when she was house hunting. Such a gorgeous home.
I’m so sad that I don’t like this at all, it had beautiful bones before !! But, his client (Adrienne) loves it and that’s soo important and all that matters really. Good job to him for sticking to the brief ♥️
It’s beautiful Adrienne 😍 well Done Erick 👏🏽‼️
I love elements of both the old and new bathroom. It looks like a marble art gallery and not a bathroom. I'm glad she liked it.
Love the bathroom, just beautiful!!!
Really fresh and airy feeling. Love it.
That flower vase is a joke!! He’s so bad!! 😂😂
Another fantastic job by Erick! Another happy client!
The water closet feel so odd to me.
I love it!!!!!! Everything about it is amazing.
Her bathroom ended up so beautiful! Erick Garcia is a really good designer, and I LOVE seeing what he does in his projects. Adrienne has so much taste! The marble is just gorgeous. The whole bathroom is so FUNCTIONAL and much safer and more practical. I absolutely love the marble vanity with ALL the storage and the smart way they made the doors and drawers so easy to open and close. That is a much more elegant solution than a closet. Talk about a dream bathroom! Not to mention... that style is just about perfectly timeless, in my opinion.
That bathroom(original) is gorgeous ❣💖 I😍❤💟 the decorated sink❣💚🥰😁 Though I do light the brightness of the remodel.
Wow!!! Amazing 🤩 Absolutely Gorgeous 💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽
Absolutely loveee it !! May God continue to increase your family! Love and Light! ❤
Absolutely love the transformation. And love that you repurposed the extra slab
I really liked the original bathroom! It needed updated a bit but that's it! Original was a Ralph Lauren dream.
I LOVE IT.. WERK IT GIRL AND ENJOY YOUR HOME WITH THAT GORGEOUS BATHROOM ❤❤
Love Adrienne’s style! ❤
This bathroom is so big and could have literally been made into an absolute dream. Instead it’s just boring
Gorgeous but the gold is too gold
Stunning renovation ❤️... and also... this designer just seems like a good person 😊.. only thing I'd change is the carpet😂
I love this transformation!! I adore the interior designer too!! He needs his own show
I don’t know what y’all talking about but this is absolutely gorg goes very well with her aesthetics 😍✨✨ MARVELOUS JOB
Loved it ❤both the space and the content
Awww. So happy for you, Adrienne. This is BEAUTIFUL! I love the transformation.
She loves it and it’s beautiful 🎉good job Adrienne
I’ve seen bathrooms at hospitals with more personality.
This is awesome. Great work!
Absolutely beautiful your bathroom. Really your content is nice. Amazing work keep it up.
Erick, amo lo que haces. You brought this room to the present era! ... The shower has to have cool white light and the wc needs to be closed up to the ceiling. Love you guys!
Everyone and their mother has that white marble bathroom now. It's starting to look tired.
Everyone, but us , lol.
Honestly, where is all the colour and warmth ?
Each to his own people
Most bathroom are white and always have been. It’s not that serious.
Complete different styles and textures. White is brighter and easier to market
I am so in love with this bathroom!! 😍 Adrienne has always had beautiful taste in all her homes! 😍
It was a beautiful reveal and I love the separated toilet space !!
Adrianne knew she FU*KED UP!!! AT 3:10 - 3:20 🤣
THE WILLOW TREE HAVE TO GO, NOT FOR A BATHROOM (The plants/flower choices were terrible 13:59) 😭😭
A SILVER (NICKEL) FINISh would've did this bathroom justice for a more modern and elegant appeal. Nickel would've complemented the marble A LOT!!
THE HIDEAWAY TOLIT WAS KIND OF UNNECESSARY TOO. IT JUST ADDED MORE UNNECESSARY SPACE!
Sometimes it's better to leave Well enough alone. 🤣The bathroom just needed a different wallpaper or something.
OVERALL I'LL GIVE THIS BATHROOM A 6/10
this is my dream bathroom! my goodness this is beautiful!
Looks so much better. The only thing I would have changed is all the golds to silvers. Grey and gold doesn’t blend well.
The light fixture being the earring to the dress just really gave me a lightbulb moment (no pun intended) and I understand why I like the lamps I like!
much more better👏🏽✨I like it
they should have turned the shower into a toilet closet and created a gigantic shower inside some of the space in the bigass bathroom. idk. this renovation is a total miss in my opinion. just awkward
You Are right ! 😊 This toilet space now look awkward
Yes!!! I couldn't see a good solution for that awkward toilet placement but that would had worked perfectly. Even room for a small sink to wash your hands after using the toilet. Great thinking outside the box.
Absolutely gorgeous just stunning I love everything
I love it!!
I got serious bathroom envy, that's lovely! :)
Love the bathroom. The shower is my favorite.
Love the Parisian aesthetics. The marble is so unique and adds the character the bathroom needed. My only dislike is that they didn't extend the water closet up to the ceiling or atleast the molding. It makes the room look shorter and adds to the fact that everything is anchored to the floor because the marble brings the eyes down instead of up.
yes. That wc was a fail for me.
love it & is so adrienne! great job
Did she get the designer on Groupon??? Fr..
Exactly what I was thinking! He’s done a terrible job on such a beautiful space
I love everything about this space ❤❤
I like nothing
why they keep saying they want to modernize but also choose things that seem old lol. also I actually love the dark panels and dark trim I feel like its so classic. I do hate the original tub and size of the vanity tho. even the original chandelier is not that bad. I also liked the original flooring.
omfg I hate the marble pattern they chose. it feels so exaggerated and not subtle at all. what was supposed to look like aged brass just looks so tacky and wannabe. the half wall for the water closet feels a bit awkward for my tastes. as usual, Erick's design feels cold and lacking, especially for new york. positives: good shower and bathtub size, french doors was a good idea.
Absolutely fantastic love it totally. So beautiful 😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️🔥🔥🔥
I have issues with grey marble paired with gold fixtures. It looks so terrible to me. It's like wearing gold with a black and white ensemble; it just doesn't blend right. Grey marble has a very sterilized look to it, and gold is very warm and inviting; together the juxtaposition isn't ideal, or flattering.
Breathtaking ❤
absolutely beautiful
You are getting the design jobs because your work is amazing!!
That looks so nice…that tub…yasss
Love the space!
I like how he even talked about what didn’t work or workout with the different materials
The Bathroom has no soul 😭😩
Love the French doors for the shower. The Calcutta marble is also stunning!
