I can't get enough of you guys and I loooove the way the videos are - you should see my sherpa collection, building up and everyone's requesting paintings all the time. Shanelle Shanelle I want to thank you for your offer to pray for me. Unfortunately, my request for prayers failed. I thought this was my safe place. I have spent hundreds of hours in here in the last 2 years and heard so many prayers and good wishes spoken into the paintings and so many people responding stating that they would pray for people, and I finally got the courage to tell my story, and ask for prayers, But as usual, I feel even more rejected and alone and wish I had never put the post up.. Unfortunately, you are the only one who offered to pray for me. I have watched the chat move so fast for people offering to pray for other people that it was hard to keep up with them. But, I should have exepected it, because that's how it goes in my life, I give and I give and I give of myself to others, and I never ask for anything, but when I finally get the courage to do so, I only got one response, and that was from you. You are the only one who offer any words of encouragement, or any offers to pray for me. As I stated I would do, after a couple of days, I was going to take my request down, and I did. There will not be another one. All this has done is me make me feel more rejected, depressed, defeated, it suppressed my strength and my will to fight even more, in addition to making me feel ignored, rejected and forgotten as usual.. But, I do thank you very much for stating that you would pray for me, for you giving me words of encouragment, and may God-bless you 1000 times over for every prayer you did speak for me. Thanks you ever so much. But, I was trying to get 2 or more people together in prayer so that Jesus would be among us, and that didn't happen. 😢
I have been so stressed out for months, and then right when I started painting the blue feathers on the raven, I felt so much better!

I'm partially color blind & am learning to paint (stop laughing) using artist loft primary colors, mixing them to make needed colors (because I'm poor). What's the deal with the magenta color & dioz (sp?) purple. Why not red? How do I make dioz purple? Does it matter? Help. I have a color wheel. Cats tongue brush - what is that?
i'd love to paint Bob Ross's aurora painting but since im an acrylic painter what can i use instead of liquid white? would mixing white work or would i have to convert to oils?

Maybe if we spent more time introducing art to problem children instead of offering suspensions or time outs, maybe they would learn another way to channel their anger / frustration...just sayin.
I agree! Helping little ones deal with the good and bad feelings in a proactive productive way instead of repressing them would make a lot of improvement
This is actually a great idea! I'm in grad school for social work, and I've come across studies done on 'problem children' tend to have better behavior if they are guided through an art form to display their feelings. This is actually used in therapy!
That's fantastic. I know when I have struggled over the past years, if I turn to doing something creative. Not just painting, anything creative at all, it helps me feel better and gets me through things.
