- Struggling to get the potatoes set up as I am down to 7 cereal bars. Where is the silver so I can make electrum? Got the airlock automated and made some basic solar panels which a storm promptly ripped up. Managed to make 200 steel! Thank god the remaining cereal bars are boneless!
1 sensor and 2 logic I/O (reader and batch writer) and you steering your solar panel in horizontal axis, and this is enough to get most of solar power it can produce. And move solar panel to end of the row, its less shadowed area. Also you do not need so many heavy cables. Its needed only between generator and station battery (charging large battery in APC don't overpower light cable), solar panel and upright wind turbines connect by transformer - you loos some energy during storms, but its a problem for much bigger base ;).
true, but if i add a lot of power production later I would have to swap out light coils with heavy. I had that issue a few times before and have learned that it seems easier just to start with heavy. I made some power changes in todays video.
You might consider wiring your battery charger to the input power side of the APC, otherwise your just using your battery to charge your battery
