Fantastic his father would be proud
😊
Dang, those Townshend brothers can play super fast guitar.
Simon really can sing the shit out of the song.
Nice to hear. Finally.
I'm 44 now. I say this song going mobile by the who is the best in my life. not a joke..
I always loved hearing this song on FM radio in the 70s. It inspired me to buy The Who's Next album.
He sounds just like his brother
Damn he sounds like the Original! Love this Song!!!
Such a good version - vocals spot on, drummer nailed it (IMO)
So did the keyboardist - sounds like he has a mini moog on stage - but I don't see it so he dialed a patch in on his existing rigs perfectly.
Absolutely
I saw them in Palm springs last year, Rodger stepped it up and the concert became more energized after Simon did this song. Amazing job filling his brothers shoes.
Simon does kill it.. great job!!!
So great to hear this song come on while I was a trucker heading back to the warehouse towards the end of my shift... great way to wrap up the day
Pete and Simon so much similar. Always listen to this on road trips.
Beeep, BEEP! ❤
Started in /64 for me and just decades of entertainment and inspirational survival techniques Townshend was a character of monumental proportions and lends his brother to Roger so he can get the grass cut at home instead of supporting Rogers dead ass on the road haha Nice rendition!
When I first heard about Simon ...I figured it was Petes son ...then I found out he was the brother.so cool. sounds great .
Wow! Sounds just as great live as it did back in the day! love it! Has always been at the top of my favs list of The Who!
great rendition of a classic song!!! jamming with Simon
one of my fav. songs! excellent Simon!
Love this rendition!
There drummer kicks ass.
wow! he and pete sound a lot a like!
He sounds just like Pete. I guess that's no big surprise.
Wow,,I thought that was Pete?
FEBRUARY 2021 Thank god for Simon, a live version of Going Mobile, just a shame that Pete didn't play this one live.
Simon could you do "A Legal Matter next time around.
I was totally shocked how good he did i love this song love Pete Roger and now thiw great
Shaw Simon Townsend Perform Mobile at the Hard Rock 2011 Fantastic Job!
"I'm sure in the day we could've played the shit out of it... but simon plays even more of the shit out of it"
Simon plays this brilliantly. Dunno why the Oo didn't put this in their shows.
Scott Devours is a lovely person
I waited years for The Who to play this one...never did....why? Always the same overplayed songs....i do like them but a little change does good.
Same with “The Song is Over”
I love to jam! My kid say.. your to old to be jamming…. Damn it.. if Daltrey can I Can.,. I’m only 61… lmao

For a second there, I closed my eyes and thought it was Pete. :)
Be Lucky Everett ! Love you guy’s Roger

Awww don't he look like his bro. Go Simon!
Great version, one of my favorites
Holy hell ...wow
I always wondered if 50 was mph, kph, or light years per hour.
Superb
Damn if you close your eyes most would swear this was Pete singing, I sure would have.
Simon's voice sounds a lot like his brother Pete
I was so surprised how good his brother does you can say he has talent to compare to Pete love this song
2:40
Such a great Who song, never played live.
WHY?
Not exactly the version I was expecting. But a good one!
"watch the police and the tax miss me" classic!
Great performance but I DiD miss the "beep beep" ..Why didn't someone say "beep beep" ? 😂
Daltrey had nothing to do with this song. Wasn't even in the studio when it was recorded.
Is that Pete's son?
@@johnreeves6286 Thank you!
Of course Pete couldn’t be bothered to play one of my favorites live😂Just like Zeppelin with “Fool in the Rain”!!!
Bastards…
