- We are very lucky here in Perthshire that we have some amazing roads within our immediate area. After receiving a mysterious parcel, I visit just a few of them, including Glenbogle, Kinloch Rannoch, St Fillans, Crieff, Perth, Comrie, Killin, Kenmore, Ben Lawers, Loch Earn, the B846, A822 and Schiehallion Road. We have tea then coffee, talk rubbish, admire some sheep, wave at a near empty train and get snowed on. All over two very different 'spring' days. Oh and no Helen, she was busy with work 😜

Amazing countryside, such diversity all within that one ride. Awesome to see that many bikers out enjoying the day along with you, and then of course the hopping sheep..... why the blazes does the odd one jump like he’s an equestrian jumping fences??? Nice to be out and at it I am sure if you are like me, the spring fever hits hard once the days turn warmer. Thanks for another fun journey, and yes it was TENSE.....

O' Spring, you bitter sweet bastard. Got the bike out last weekend of february, then two weeks of snow, then one week nice warm 8 degrees, then one week of snow, one week of 9 degrees, and again snow (10 cm). Happy to see you again on the road in your backyard.

Used to live up the Sma' Glen. That whole video was my old stompin ground! Used to go up and down them thar hills on the back of my dads bike. Oh the memories! Thanks for a great video!

The Scotland we know and Love (4 seasons ) in one day, great wee run there Fraser. I admire your courage ( or was it stupidity) in manoeuvring your bike in the snow whilst astride it, think i would have got off and manhandled it around

Hi Fraser and Helen. Just wanted to say thank you for your videos. They have totally kept us entertained during lockdown and so remind us of our European trips with all the fab places visited. The background music has brought back a few great memories too! Looking forward to when we can all get back biking abroad again - whenever that will be - in the meantime we'll rewatch your upbeat videos and hope we'll all be able to get to those places again soon. Brilliant video, recently been out on the same roads around Perthshire. We are so lucky to have these fantastic roads and scenery for biking. Had my heated waistcoat on, makes such a difference. Great viewing, very enjoyable. 👌👌

I got in my 1st ride of the season last week but then the snow returned - snowing now as I am watching this! When I seen you riding in the snow my butt cheeks clamped down on my chair! You handled that very well including knowing enough to turn back when you did. Thanks for sharing the videos.

Took my bike to achill island on the west coast of ireland yesterday. Scenery very similar to the highlands of Scotland...... Without the snow. Thanks for the video. Really enjoyed that

Hello Fraser glad to see you riding Again. Looked beautiful except for the snow preety scary i quess. How are your plans for the summer. Difficult i imagine to plan anythink at this moment. Iam hoping to get away in September to Germany and France but nothing is certain. Keep well and greetings from Holland.

Know the feeling and the roads so well, 1 bike Oban to Glasgow and back on Wednesday for a service and then Friday back down to Glasgow on the naked loan bike to pick up my BMW K1600 after the new gearbox recall, so cold I kept everything on in the dealership except my helmet and never thawed out. At least the sun was shining, so it was bonnie Scotland!!
I had a test of a heated vest on the bike a day ago... it was amazing, well worth looking into. 👍🏍
Great video, as always. You are indeed, very lucky, here in Midlothian, there's not much to do, staying within our local authority. Disappointed not to see your better half, although, I was pleasantly surprised to see her in a recent Scots Magazine. I saw Helen's pic, and thought, "I recognise her!", who knew!?!
I do like to follow the route on Google Maps, and had to laugh as I struggled to keep up, and thought the RT pillion had fallen off at one point.
Looking forward to this seasons escapades.

Great Video didn’t expect to shed a tear though! A few years ago I lost a very good friend she was a captain for Scott air based in Edinburgh. She was only 36 when she left us 🙁 we put her ashes in Loch Rannoch and had a memorial bench put above the loch because it was her favourite place🙂

Loved the video and the landscape , and unique to compare your Perth to ours (in Western Australia and Tasmania). I thought Scotland would be more green, but the difference is we go brown in the summer from sunburn and you appear to do the same from frost-bite in the winter ! Why is it you have so many places in Scotland named after places in Australia ????

Also loved your on and off the throttle, blip, overrun etc very atmospheric not necessarily related to vid moment but very effective, well to me in my armchair in headphones in lock down only a10 kilometre half circle radius in Western Franceas other half is in the sea. The GS does not float.

Great bike! I've got the same model. The rules are confusing,I live in Perthshire and we were doing my favourite loop up Loch Earn and down Loch Tay last week,,we got pulled over by a couple of police bikes at Loch Earn and advised about the rules. I thought like you that we could travel throughout Perthshire but that's not the case, it's your council area! Which would mean a run of about 6 miles!! Can't wait until the rules are lifted on the 26th April
They are confusing but we took it from the BBC that from the 2nd April you could travel within your local authority area. The top of Loch Earn I think is in Stirlingshire which may have been why you were stopped. 👮♂️🏍👍
@@travelsonmymotorbike we got stopped at St Fillans! The police were fine but they did say I should only be going approx 6 miles unless the journey was essential.i think England are different which is where things can get confusing!
Very nice video again, this one, thank you very much! How high up were you when the snow on the road started? And as for Steve, last time he rode an RS, this time he was out and about on an RT and a GS, will he be on three different bikes in the next clip?
Hopefully we will soon see some warm and sunny Scottish spring riding (it is snowing outside as I write this)!
Don;t think it was particularly high, maybe 1200-1500 feet, crazy weather at the moment though, was sunbathing today amongst fresh snow that fell yesterday! And yes, Steve does have a passion for buying bikes 😂😀🏍🏍🏍🏍🏍🏍🏍🏍🏍🏍🏍

I won't bore you with the technical details but it is very very hard to capture good clean audio from the engine, especially at speed, so the short answer is no haha 😜🏍🎶🏍
