Improving The Aerodynamics Of My BMW S1000RR | Puig R-Racer Windscreen Install

In this video we replace the OEM windscreen on my 2022 BMW S1000RR with a new Puig R-Racer Windscreen. This windscreen was developed with SBK and WEC Race Teams for the perfect balance of protection and aerodynamics.
The R-Racer screens are designed for you to have a perfect vision through and to be more aerodynamically efficient than the stock screens, they are tested in a virtual wind tunnel to improve the aerodynamic coefficient (Cx) and thanks to their taller height, it deflects the wind that otherwise would hit the rider’s helmet and shoulders.
Features:
- Made of high impact acrylic, giving each screen added strength and flexibility
- 3mm thickness helps absorb vibration at high speeds, and offers resistance from cracking or scratching
- All screens are developed using information from wind tunnel testing
Installation of the screen doesn’t require additional parts like trims and every screen comes with an in depth aerodynamic study that indicates the improvement in performance as well as the protection to the rider.
