Five Star videography! The beauty, breadth and scope in this video is truly breathtaking. Colorado is never more beautiful than when it is dressed in Winter White. I never take it for granted. Thank you for this amazing video. Perfect viewing for December 1st.
Finally, someone knows how to properly shoot video. Excellent work! As a retired Combat photographer, I've seen all grades of video in my career. This is among the absolute best. Superb audio, pans, tilts, and limited zooms. Ten stars guys. Thank you for doing it right. Perhaps others can learn from your professionalism.
Notice that there is one open car. The railroad does not sell tickets to ride in this car, but its made to be available for those that just have to have that freshest breath of the fresh mountain air for short periods of time. Also, better quality videos and pictures are obtained from the open air car than can be obtained by shooting through a glass window in one of the heated cars. If a passenger is layered up correctly and the day is not too cold, its really not bad being out in the open air. Thanks to the video crew that put this together, for winter in the mountains with snow on the ground and crowning the mountain peaks is just fabulous.
These are absolute works of art. I love how you let the scenes play out and breathe, very peaceful and awe-inspiring at the same time, with gorgeous landscapes.

It's been a few years for me but it looks like they went past Cascade Canyon and Rockwood. Didn't know they went that far in the winter.
The winter train still goes to Cascade Canyon. Rockwood is on the way to Cascade.
