What a lot of people don't know is that Billy Boyd really could do a very convincing English accent, but it made his comedic timing off and he just wasn't as geniune which is what Pippen is. So the director told him last minute to just stick with his real accent. Anyway, thanks for posting! Craig is wicked awesome.
him being scottish never bothered me while watching those movies. I think it added to his character being that Pippin was supposed to be the different one. The goofy, funny one who never thought anything bad was going to happen and his different accent added to it. I think he was great :)
Billy Boyd was great in LOTR, the accent thing didn't effect me at all, besides his character was so clownish that maybe Pippen did the scottish accent to screw with the other hobbits in hobbiton
Orlando Bloom was a complete waste in the LOTR movies. I LOVE that Craig points that out. His lines always bother me in the movie. This guy is amazing.
If tall men took the ring instead of the Hobbits, the movie would be over in half the time because they would've succumbed to the temptation of the ring.
