Pet's Funeral and a Surprise for my Husband (getting out of hibernation to vlog again)

✨For dinner:
I fried onions + carrots, added chicken legs + salt + pepper + paprika + dry garlic, and then added the sauce which was tomato paste + mayo + sour cream + salt + pepper (so basically random ingredients). Stewed it till the chicken was good and ready and served with pasta.
✨For the pie (I don't know the exact measurements because I always just mix ingredients till a certain consistency but here are approximate ones):
▪️250g of sugar + 5 eggs - mix in a bowl
▪️Add 250-300g of flour + a teaspoon of baking soda or less + cinnamon if you want - mix everything well
▪️The consistency of the dough should be similar to mine in the video.
▪️Chop about 5 apples and mix with the dough
▪️Bake for about 50min at 180C
That's it 😋

Hi Vika Im 31 yrs old (single mom to a 6 yr old) living all the way on the other side of the world in the suburbs of NYC. I just want to tell you that I admire you and Tolya so so much. I always think about the fact that you had to leave your home and country suddenly with a toddler and a baby on the way, and start over alone in a new country with a different language. You both are some of the bravest people i know of and i dont say that lightly.
On top of that, Vika being a stay at home mom is not easy! Its the kids, the cooking the cleaning it seems like it never ends but you are such a good mom and wife!! You can tell that your kids and husband (and yellow cat) adore you and so do we around the world.
I love that you still wanted to make him a pie after an entire exhausting day. You two love each other so much and we can feel it through the screen. Its so refreshing to see in young couples. And Tolya is an amazing father and husband as well. Keep it up guys its only gonna get easier from here. Good luck with your new job!

Isopropyl alcohol will remove the sticky gum fro. The counter and make it clean for refinishing. Make sure No flame or heat source is on, while using the alcohol to clean the counter.
I was going to suggest the isopropyl alcohol too. 70-90%, but keep the kids and cats out of the room, and maybe get some gloves so you don’t dry out your hands. I keep a bottle around to clean glass, some kinds of steel, and cat scratches (we have a new kitten, my hands are shredded).

bedspread (usually thin), comforter (thicker), duvets usually are kind of like comforters but they fit into duvet covers…your English is outstanding…I admire anyone that can speak more than one language 👍🏼

Just wanted to share on the countertop, any degreaser (baby oil, cooking oil, coconut oil) can remove sticky residue. Once that removes it, wipe down with soapy water to remove the oil. That should fix the sticky part. If you guys can get wood filler or putty, that could be used to fill in the cracks and holes. Once sanded smooth, a paint or stain could be used to help make everything an even color. Looking forward to your creativity!

Im very new to your channel and have been watching older videos to catch up. The very first video i watched was " typical russian apt tour" and my 1st thought was "wow. Her english is fantastic!" I was impressed. You may already know this but your daughters will understand your English eventually. They can learn languages with ease up until about 9yrs old i think..after that they can learn but its much harder like it is for adults. I dont remember being taught to speak any languages. I grew up in Puerto Rico then moved to the States before i was in middle school. My family spoke to me in both Spanish and English and i was fluent in both as a small child. Just speak to them regularly in both languages and you will be shocked at how quickly they learn! You and your husband are so strong and resilient and your kids look happy and full of love and life. I wish you the best and am looking forward to seeing more of you❤
Edit: i think i could figure it out from watching but id love the exact recipe for that apple pie. In the States we would actually consider that more a cake than a pie because a pie usually has crust on the bottom and on top depending on what kind of pie it is and a filling of choice goes inside. But it looks delicious no matter what you call it😂🤤
