what did you think about the food? is it good? fresh?

Overall food is fresh and good. Was having a little higher expectations for 5 star though. Some of the steak was over cooked. I really enjoyed Mexican restaurant because of the service and food was good. Was hoping they had Al carte Lunch for regular members also.

Definitely not a family resort. My pre teen kids were so bored. Tiny pool and pathetic kids game room. Widely advertised bubble pool party is only once a week. Also, there's no place to even get ice cream when the buffet is closed which only opens twice a week. Unlike other family resorts, there is not even a dedicated desert or ice cream place.. Also, the waiters are only focused on tips. You better bring lots of cash for tips otherwise they'll be very very rude to you. The Japanese restaurant only has 4 types of sushi and the quality is poor. Hibachi is pretty good but avoid the sushi menu. This place should stop advertising as a family resort because that's not what it is.

Yes, not really for kids. Grand moon is great place for kids. So many activities, rides and fun things there for pre-teen. And you can visit the near by sisters resorts also.
