@@aidanriddle6768 I know she’s not dead but the problem is she’s not really leading her people anymore and they are suffering because of it. She also had several high ranking Awoken on her ship when it was destroyed in the battle of Saturn.

I do agree she is doing a poor job but yet I believe she wanted this happen according to her plan. And I’m thinking she wants the dreaming city to fall and being savuthan up there I do believe she has a plan and it will be released during the campaign probably

OK so everyone knows the part after Phobos, after you leave it shows all the taken and oryx. here is the thing most people got that in like the day time(the background in that cut scene) it happened to me in the night
The game has an in game clock and it has day and night I got mine at night as well

technically, yes. it was a shard of Oryx's sword
Transcrafts if you read the dialogue when you get the sword quest, Eris is technically handing you the item she collected for us to show lord shaxx in order to get the legendary sword quest. So it's not really anything evil about her, it's just a build up for the quest
So that's what happens to the creepy hive lady.. I really gotta finish the first Destiny _--_

In Shadowkeep, the Pyramid created the Nightmares of dead enemies like Ghaul, the Fanatic and Crota - but not Oryx. Either this is a big coincidence or Oryx is not dead but is just waiting for the right moment to come back - maybe when the Darkness returns?
I really hope he comes back. He is the best villain in destiny
