Is Gimp the only Photoshop "alternative" on Linux? That limits my workflow a lot, because Gimp doesn't have any of the useful AI tools that many other photo manipulation programs have. For instance. In Photoshop, I can select an object (like a person or a car) and remove everything else with one click. Or remove an object and let Photoshop automatically replace the white space with the textures that are supposed to be there.

NO GimP not the only one IT may be one the More powerful photo editing out. Take an look at TOm M video on. "GIMP Tutorial: Basic Tools Overview" m I do not do much in photo editing much but have seen a long list of photo editors. Everything from kids stuff too much more. The internet talks about gimp due to its kind of like a one-stop-shop covers most things

The AI tools work well in theoriy and in demonstrations but in practice they aren't all that great. With that said, you can use content aware fill tool in gimp, but it's called photo resynthesizer - czcams.com/video/J61ExqvNcBQ/video.html
foreground select tool with auto removal - czcams.com/video/RVDsVe3nJ1U/video.html
